Release the Report
Bob Mueller turned in his report to Attorney General Bill Barr.
Bill Barr wrote a letter to the top leaders in Congress saying he was in receipt of the report and would be releasing more information this weekend. Lindsey Graham wasn’t in Washington to receive his copy of the letter because he was with his new BFF, Trump, at his new BFF’s weekend getaway Mar-a-Lago. South Carolina be like, “Where’s our senator? He was here a couple of years ago……”
The end of this report means no more indictments for this investigation. Lady Liberty is saving the best for last.
There will be further indictments. This was just one of 17 ongoing investigations. Lady Liberty isn’t finished with the traitors and grifters and criminals. This is just the beginning.
37 people have been indicted so far. 5 pled guilty and 1 awaits trial. All 6 worked on Trump’s campaign.
The Mueller investigation was a counter intelligence investigation — not a criminal investigation. Mueller’s assignment was to investigate Trump and Russia. The Southern District of New York and the New York State Attorney General will catch the rest.
Next step — oversight. Congress must do its job and the citizens must demand that they do their job.
The Democrats are all staying on message — RELEASE THE REPORT TO THE PUBLIC NOW.
The Republicans are working on their message. Bob Mueller has a drinking problem or something just as ridiculous.
Trump’s message is no collusion, no collusion.
Republican hypocrite fun fact: The Mueller Report was delivered on the 46th anniversary of the secret Watergate tape where Nixon told one of his BFFs, John Mitchell, “I want you all to stonewall it, let them plead the Fifth Amendment, cover up or anything else, if it’ll save it……save the plan.” John Mitchell was Nixon’s presidential campaign manager. He made him Attorney General right away. He asked FBI director, J. Edgar Hoover, not to conduct the usual background check on his BFF. John was a major player in the Watergate break in. To keep his wife from finding out about it he hired some men to kidnap her and hold her in a motel room where they later sedated her because she fought back so hard. The Republicans spun the incident as Martha has a drinking problem. Nixon said if there had been no Martha there wouldn’t have been a Watergate. For his role in Watergate John Mitchell was found guilty of conspiracy, obstruction of justice and perjury. He went to minimum security white man jail for 19 months.
At Mar-a-Lago, Lindsey made a speech that pleased Trump. He called for an investigation into Hillary Clinton and the crowd chanted, “Lock her up!” Great applause line. The best applause line. The best.
Trump sat at a table in his gawdy country club with people all around him who paid to be there watching his little man, Lindsey Graham, perform for him during a national emergency while the news broke that Bob Mueller was finished with his investigation.
Trump didn’t comment about Mueller last night at the country club and he only made a 3 minute speech. He hasn’t tweeted either.
In other news, Trump lifted sanctions on North Korea because he loves Kim Jong-un and doesn’t think sanctions are “necessary,” Franklin Graham went to Russia, Charlottesville schools closed over an ethnic cleansing threat — someone said they were going to shoot everybody who wasn’t white, one of the survivors of the Parkland shooting who suffered from PTSD killed herself, and a 74-year old substitute teacher came to work packing and the gun accidentally went off in a first grade classroom at an elementary school in Alabama.
The US had its biggest monthly budget deficit on record last month, thanks to Trump’s tax cuts for the wealthy. The 20% drop in corporate tax revenue really hurt us. Plus Trump can’t stop spending. We need Democrats in charge to cut up the Republican credit card, as usual.
Since 1965, Democrats in power have seen 3 indictments, 1 conviction, and 1 prison sentence. Republicans have seen 120 indictments, 89 convictions, and 34 prison sentences, AND COUNTING.
