Republican Destruction
The Republican National Committee voted to formerly censure two of their members, Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney for not going along with the Big Lie and for being on the Select Committee to find out the truth about what happened on January 6.
Ronna McDaniel, RNC Chair, called what happened at the Capitol “legitimate political discourse.” She said of Cheney and Kinzinger, “They chose to join Nancy Pelosi in a Democrat led persecution of ordinary citizens who engaged in legitimate political discourse that had nothing to do with violence at the Capitol.”
The former chair of the Florida GOP and also the former Chair of the American Conservative Union, Al Cardenas, tweeted: I would not contribute to the RNC now. I was a member of its exec committee, chairman of the Fla GOP. These are 2 legitimately elected Republican members of Congress. One whose father was VP for 8 years; the other an active member of our military.
Republican Senator Marco Rubio went on Face the Nation Sunday morning and said, “This commission is a partisan scam……the purpose of that commission is to try to embarrass and smear and harass as many Republicans as they can get their hands on.”
Legitimate political discourse is when people peacefully took to the streets to tell the government that Black Lives Matter. Trump used his power to sick the National Guard and his Secret Police on peaceful protesters and the Republicans cheered him on.
The Select Committee is now in possession of White House records that show that Trump spoke to Jim Jordan for 10 minutes on the phone several hours before the attack on the Capitol.
Mike Pence made a speech at the Federalist Society event and said, “I heard this week that President Trump said I had the right to overturn the election. President Trump is wrong. There is no idea more un-American than the notion that any one person can choose the American president.” That took him long enough. Now the RNC will probably censure him.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 467,000 jobs were added in January which is way higher than economists expected. They thought 150,000 jobs would be added. Fox and Friends hammered Joe Biden for a bad jobs report. He set a record for the most amount of jobs created in a president’s first term — 6.6 million jobs to be exact, but you wouldn’t know that if you watched Fox News.
Fox dubbed Trump the “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” president when 3 million jobs were actually LOST during his reign of terror. He gets the record for being the worst jobs president but you wouldn’t know that if you watch Fox and listen to Trump.
Under Biden, the GDP hit a 40 year high, the current leader of ISIS has been killed, covid is getting under control, and more jobs have been created than any other president in their first year but the mainstream corporate owned media keeps saying he’s not hitting the mark.
The cops have arrested 3 of the Nazis who were “demonstrating” in Orlando and charged them with battery with hate crime enhancement and grand theft. Somebody should let Ron DeSantis know.
Ron DeSantis has been in regular contact with Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, extreme right wing activist Ginni.
The new governor of Virginia, Glenn Youngkin, walked into a crowded grocery story in Virginia without a mask and one of the shoppers yelled at him to put on a mask. He was the only one in the store not wearing one. He told her, “We’re all making choices today” as he pretended to be shopping. “Look around you governor, you’re in Alexandria. Read the room buddy!”
Republican hypocrite fun fact: At least 46 members of Congress have visited Trump at Mar-a-Lago or one of his other properties since he LOST.
Another Republican hypocrite fun fact: The RNC censured Cheney and Kinzinger but have left Matt Gaetz alone even though he is under federal investigation for sex trafficking of a minor.
The DOJ has emails and phone records of one of Steve Bannon’s three attorneys.
Democrats have been governing while Republicans have been burning books, banning abortion, putting everybody who isn’t white and male in their place, whitewashing the attack on the Capitol, censuring the only 2 decent Republicans left in their own party, and protecting and upholding Trump’s Big Lie.
