The Biden administration has hired a pest control contractor to spray for germs and bugs and spit and snot and crabs and God knows what else after Trump and his filthy, covid infected, motley crew vacate the People’s House at long last.
The Third Lady just wants to “go home.” Where is that, exactly? Florida with Trump, Jared and Ivanka or liberal New York City where everybody hates her guts and will boo her wherever she goes for the rest of her natural life which might not be long since there’s nothing natural left about Melanie.
3054 people died yesterday. The coronavirus is out of control — a complete collapse in coordination and response. ICUs are going to have to start rationing care and patients are being flown out of states because hospitals have no room for new patients.
A health official in Idaho had to leave a meeting early in a panic to get home because anti-masker protesters were pounding on her door. Her 12 year old son was home alone and scared to death. 2 other commissioners had protesters show up at their homes at the same time. The meeting had to adjourn early for safety reasons. The panel didn’t get to vote on mandatory masks to slow the spread of a deadly disease because of lunatics screaming about their personal liberty and right to infect others.
More on the Rebekah Jones situation — the judge who signed the warrant for the cops to bang down her door and seize her computers and phone was appointed by Governor DeSantis a month prior to the raid in CIVIL COURT. It was one of his first actions as a judge. Rebekah Jones better sue the shit out of Florida. When you look at a covid map of the country, all states are a deep red except for Florida. It looks like the plague isn’t as bad there. How come? Because the governor has been lying about infection, hospitalization, and death rates. He wasn’t kidding when he said he was Trump’s Mini Me. He’s killing his own people.
Trump had a Hanukkah party and made a little speech where he said that with the help of “certain very important people, if they have wisdom and if they have courage, we are going to win this election.” The MAGA yamaka crowd chanted, “Four more years!”
Newly elected speaker of the state house in New Hampshire, Dick Hinch, dropped dead a week after being sworn in. Cause of death isn’t known yet but he did attend a Republican caucus event recently where undoubtedly unmasked Trump Plague deniers breathed and spit on each other when they laughed and ranted about Democrats.
17 attorneys general from 17 different states have filed a brief with the Supreme Court to join the Texas attorney general in reversing the results of the election and giving the win to Trump. That’s called autocracy and is what happened in Turkey and Belarus. Ted Cruz is leading the charge and the Republicans are going along with it by not saying anything. Both Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are on board. The Republican Party is now an autocratic party and whoever they run in 2024 will be way worse than Trump. The GOP has been taken over by white supremacists, conspiracy theorists and gun nuts. They have been courting these weirdos for decades and the take over is the inevitable outcome. There’s no going back. The genie is out of the bottle and must be killed to save the country. The GOP must be destroyed.
Ted Cruz wants to be the 2024 candidate so he’s sticking his nose in wherever he can, hogging the camera to send a message to the weirdo white supremacists, conspiracy theorists and gun nuts — “As long as there’s litigation ongoing, and the election result is disputed, I do not think you will see the Senate act to confirm any nominee.” So there you go. The Republican strategy to sabotage all of Biden’s cabinet picks is not to confirm anybody as long as there is “ongoing litigation” which could determine that Biden is not the true winner.
The Arizona Republican Party has asked its members (aka cult followers) if they’re willing to die to overturn election results. The chair of the Arizona GOP is Kelly Ward, a perfect representative of the GOP of 2020 — anti-immigrant and pro-conspiracy theories. She doesn’t like the governor of Arizona and told him to shut up on Twitter. In a press conference later that day, the governor said the feeling was mutual. Republicans are turning on each other and imploding at every level and it’s glorious.
Trump has used his power to have the DOJ open an investigation into Hunter Biden’s………..wait for it…….taxes. He wants to leave an open investigation into the new president’s son for the new attorney general to finish.
Republican Mitt Romney finally put his big toe in the waters of reality and said this of Trump trying to get states to change their votes: “Madness. This is madness. We have a process. Recounts are appropriate. Going to the court is appropriate and pursuing every legal avenue is appropriate, but trying to get electors, not to do what the people voted to do is madness.”
Rush Limbaugh told his listeners that we’re headed for secession.
Lindsey Graham told a right wing radio show that Joe Biden won the state of Georgia because Stacey Abrams “conned the Republican leadership in Georgia” into abetting voter fraud by helping more people legally vote. More people as in black people.
Democrats in Congress, led by Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon and Congressman Joaquin Castro of Texas, have launched an investigation into whether or not Jared Kushner used his influence to lift a Saudi blockade on Qatar for a $1 billion bail out of his failed investment — 666 Fifth Avenue in New York. Did whatever deal he made with Qatar impact United States foreign policy? We’re gonna find out. Let the investigations into the Trump crime family begin!
Speaking of criminals who use their influence to influence their own wealth, Senator David Perdue sold his house to a lobbyist from the financial industry whose job is to lobby the Senate.
