Republicans set Peter Strzok up to be the fall guy for their fictitious deep state and made him sit through a day long hearing where they attacked his personal life, accused him of single handedly trying to dethrone Trump and being part of a corrupt justice department. Their only goal was to humiliate him publicly so they could turn their base against the FBI before Mueller released his report. It was pure spectacle. The Republicans were belligerent and malicious and made total fools of themselves. Again.
They asked him questions about the Russia probe that they knew he couldn’t answer because he’s still an employee of the FBI. The chair of the House Judiciary Committee, Bob Goodlatte, threatened to hold Peter Strzok in contempt. Because he refused to answer questions about an ongoing investigation.
Howdy Doody Children of the Corn Trey Gowdy, the head of the witch hunt Benghazi investigation that turned up nothing said, “I don’t appreciate having an FBI with an unprecedented level of animus working on two major investigations during 2016.”
To that, Strzok ripped him a new corn hole and the room erupted into applause. That was one for the history youtube videos. “I strongly believe today’s hearing is just another victory notch in Putin’s belt……..The proposition that this is going on deeply corrodes what the FBI is in American society, the effectiveness of their mission, and it is deeply destructive…….The notion that there’s a deep state working unilaterally within the FBI to impose their political will on the county is not only patently false, it’s not possible!”
Congressman Elijah Cummings had his interns stand behind the interrogators holding giant photos of the men who have already plead guilty in the Russia probe. How do you like them optics, Trump?
Peter Strzok has 22 years experience with the FBI. He ran counter-intelligence on Russia. He’s a very successful Russian spy hunter and is at the top of Putin’s enemies list.
While he was getting beat up by the repugs, Peter looked at most of them and thought, “I’ve got dirt on you and you and you and you and you…….” He knows who among them are compromised because he was part of the Russia investigation before the election. If he had really wanted to take Trump down, he could have leaked what he knew to the press, BEFORE THE ELECTION. He didn’t because he’s a pro. “In the fall of 2016, I had info that could derail, and quite possibly, defeat Mr. Trump. But the thought of exposing that information never crossed my mind. This investigation is not politically motivated, it is not a witch hunt, it is not a hoax.”
It’s a witch hunt alright, and the GOP is behind it.
Peter Strzok has done more for national security in the past 22 years than most of the bumcheese in Congress has put together.
Strzok was singled out by Republicans in congress for texting the same thing most people were saying, texting and messaging on and after election night. Check congress members phones. They were as freaked out as the rest of us.
One of Strzok’s tweets: “F*cking conniving cheating savages. At statecraft, athletics, you name it. I’m glad I’m on Team USA.”
Strzok got one for Team USA — Trump and the GOP’s fake deep state was dismantled in congressional hearings yesterday and was exposed as a shameful chapter in our nation’s history. The President of the United States is a Russian asset and the Republicans in Congress are in on it.
Meanwhile in London, people filled the streets to protest Trump’s state visit. “Hey Hey Ho! Fascist Trump has got to go!……….Shame on you!………Say it loud say it clear racist Trump is not welcome here!…….Lock him up!”

Trump berated the American media once again on foreign soil.
Democracy hit the guardrails yesterday. If the United States becomes an autocratic kleptocracy, the whole world is in trouble.
The entire course of human history pivots on the outcome of the midterm elections in November.
