Since that is really hard to prosecute it must mean that DOJ is really confident about the evidence they have. The top members of the Oath Keepers have already been charged. One of the crew members of the documentary team that they hired to cover the insurrection will testify tomorrow night in the first public hearing by the Select Committee which will be aired everywhere but Fox. They are committing journalistic malpractice by refusing to cover the hearings. Instead, they have been talking about the “sham hearings” for days and wouldn’t you know it, the Mexican caravans are back. Another invasion of immigrants is timed to hit the border right when the hearings are going on.
The Select Committee has been investigating whether or not Trump tried to get the Secret Service to remove Pence from the Capitol.
When Republican Senator Tom Cotton was asked about the upcoming Select Committee hearings on Fox, he said he’s seen a lot of reports that the committee is geared towards federalizing elections and abolishing the electoral college. WTF?
Fox ran 1,098 primetime segments on Benghazi from the attack until the committee hearings, which they carried live for over 7 hours but now it’s refusing to cover hearings on the greatest crime against the United States in the nation’s history.

Fox News host Sandra Smith took a dig at him by demeaning him with, “Someone from Hollywood calling to restore our family values.” Matthew McConaughey has three kids with one woman, Camila Alves, and he loves his mom.
A son of one of the women who was shot and killed in Buffalo testified before the Senate and asked them to picture their own mothers being shot. “Is there nothing that you personally are willing to do to stop the cancer of white supremacy and the domestic terrorism it inspires? Because if there is nothing, then you should yield your positions.” Republicans were unmoved. Shoot my kids, shoot my mom. See if I care.

Amnesty International issued a travel advisory for the United States urging travelers to think twice about going to the US and if they must go, exercise caution and have an emergency contingency plan. Don’t get shot.
So how do we solve the deadly problem of gun violence in America? Make bullets as expensive as life saving Epipen and Insulin, mandate that every AR-15 be insured with as much unaffordable coverage as people with pre-existing conditions got before Obamacare, and round up everyone who owns an AR-15 in every community and put them in the largest venue in town along with everybody else who owns an AR-15 plus their Republican representatives each with their own AR-15 (donated by the NRA.) Lock the doors then wait. We’d get gun reform. If letting their kids and moms be shot doesn’t freak them out, perhaps the sensation of a near heart attack might do it. Let them fear, for a very long time, that they could get shot and make them watch when someone else gets shot because with that many AR-15s and that many delusional gun nuts, it will eventually happen just like it does now outside of the venue walls only now the Republicans are trapped on the other side of those locked doors. Let’s see if they care when they’re the ones about to be shot.

390,000 new jobs were added in May. This is the strongest jobs market in decades but the Republicans are ignoring that and gun violence and are focused only on inflation and gas prices which are both out of Biden’s control. The jobless rate is 3.6%. Biden was tasked with many crises to solve when he took office and he’s fixed a really big one but the media hasn’t made much of it because it’s not as interesting as inflation, gas prices, and Johnny Depp.
ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC will all air the primetime hearing of the bipartisan Select Committee tomorrow night. The committee has hired a professional storyteller to format testimonies and presentations to hold the public’s interest. The old white people in America who watch nothing but Fox News need to be tricked into watching it but it will be hard. There won’t be any cleavage or bare leg like they’re used to getting on Fox.
