Select Committee Hearing #5 and the Supreme Court is Corrupt

A couple of hours before the fifth Select Committee hearing, news broke that the day before federal agents showed up at Jeffrey Clark’s home in Virginia before dawn with a search warrant. They left with electronic devices and Clark standing in the middle of the street in his pajamas. Jeffrey Clark is the environmental lawyer that Trump pulled in at the last minute to serve as attorney general before the coup. He not only knew what Trump was up to, he was in on it. He wrote a letter to states that said that the DOJ had discovered fraud and for states to appoint new electors and give the win to Trump. He was ready to hit send on the letter as soon as Trump gave him the power. He was the focus of the 2 ½ hour hearing but wasn’t there. He pleaded the Fifth 125 times.

Those who did testify were former DOJ officials — Assistant Attorney General Steven A. Engel, Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen and Acting Deputy Attorney General Richard Donoghue, the three highest ranking officials in the justice department at the end of Trump’s reign of terror. They stopped him on January 3 from installing Clark and threatened to resign all at once which would have resulted in mass resignations throughout the department, essentially dissolving the department if he went through with his plan to overturn the election. The White House was already referring to Jeffrey Clark as the attorney general at that time.

Day 5 was about how Trump used the DOJ to try and overthrow the government. They were the only ones who knew about his plan except for the people who were in on it.

The first letter to go out was to Georgia. White House Counsel Pat Cipollone called the letter a murder/suicide pact. The Select Committee really wants to talk to him but he refuses to comply.

Trump and Mark Meadows pushed a conspiracy theory that the Italian government used satellites to switch votes from Trump to Biden. It was started by an Italian lunatic who made a YouTube video which was dug up by Congressman Scott Perry and forwarded on to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. The kook had an arrest record in Italy. Meadows contacted DOJ to investigate it. Defense Secretary Chris Miller had no choice but to call Italy and ask if they used satellites to interfere with our presidential election.

Trump grabbed on to conspiracy theories to commit his crimes. He said, “You guys may not be following the internet the way I do.”

Trump directed the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security to seize voting machines.

When none of that worked, he resorted to violence.

Republican congress members Mo Brooks, Scott Perry, Andy Biggs, Louie Gohmert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Matt Gaetz all asked for pardons. Gaetz asked for a broad pardon for “any and all things possible from the beginning of time.” Jim Jordan didn’t outright ask about a pardon, but he did ask how the pardons were going.

“Just say it was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen.” — Trump

In other news, the Supreme Court ruled that cops don’t have to read your Miranda rights if you’re arrested, nobody needs a permit to carry a firearm in public, and abortion is illegal. Roe v Wade is no more.
