Trump and Junior both retweeted a video of a crackpot strip mall doctor who runs her own church next to her strip mall clinic, Stella Immanuel, ranting about having a cure for the coronavirus. She believes that masks aren’t needed, that some medical issues are caused by sex with demons and witches, and that alien DNA is being used in medical treatment. Twitter took the video down and kicked Junior off of Twitter, but not Trump. He’s still free to tweet and speak about this from the White House. “I thought her voice was an important voice, but I know nothing about her.” When a reporter asked for an explanation, he turned around and walked off.
Speaking of Satan, Bill Barr testified before the House Judiciary Committee yesterday. Gym Jordan kicked if off by playing a Trump campaign video where peaceful protesters were portrayed as violent, blood thirsty demons. Good triumphs over evil when Trump saves the day. Gym Jordan said that the church across the street from the White House would have burned down a month ago during the Black Lives Matter protests if Bill Barr hadn’t released the hounds. Dog eat dog.
Committee Chair Jerry Nadler said the Justice Department “has endangered Americans and violated their constitutional rights by flooding federal law enforcement into the streets of American cities, against the wishes of the state and local leaders of those cities, to forcefully and unconstitutionally suppress dissent.”
Trump and the Republicans are freaking evil. They’re using protests in the face of systemic brutality as an excuse for systemic brutality. Jerry Nadler called them out by saying to Bill Barr, on the record, “The President wants footage for his campaign ads and you appear to be serving it up as ordered.”

Bill Barr was annoyed to be there and it showed. It was clear that he thought of himself as Lord Justice, appointed by God. Everybody but the Republicans saw him as Trump’s Traci Lords of Justice. Bill Barr was held in contempt by Congress a year ago. Yesterday he demonstrated his contempt for democracy in front of Congress.

Bill Barr blamed Trump’s failures on the coronavirus testing and PPE shortages on the Obama administration, denied punishing Trump’s enemies and helping his friends, denied reading Trump’s tweets even though he said a few months ago that Trump’s tweets interfered with his work (Congressman Eric Swalwell nailed him to his own cross by saying, “You don’t read the president’s tweets? Well you should start, because there’s a lot of evidence in them,”) avoided answering whether or not he deployed the Secret Police as part of Donald Trump’s re-election effort, accidentally admitted that he talks about Trump’s campaign during cabinet meetings, and denied that systemic racism exists in police departments which really pissed some of the Democrats off.
Democratic Black Congressman from Louisiana, Cedric Richmond, looked down at the devil incarnate and gave him what for — “The one thing that you have in common with your two predecessors, both Attorney General Sessions and Attorney General Whitaker is that when you all came here and brought your top staff, you brought no black people. That sir, is systematic racism.” Then he told him to keep John Lewis’ name out of his Fred Flinstone yabba dabba doo dirt devil mouth.
Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal called Barr out for targeting Black Lives Matter protesters: “When white men with swastikas storm a government building with guns, there is no need for the president to activate you, because they’re getting the president’s personal agenda done.” Swastikas, guns, threatening legislators, the governor and police are OK but protesters of all races protesting police brutality will get shot, gassed, and thrown into unmarked vehicles without due process.
The devil is in the details. Bill Barr figured out a way to lawfully attack and kidnap citizens by saying that the Secret Police are needed to defend federal property. He likens graffiti to burning down federal courts so it’s off to Hell with you.
Bill Barr would have the country believe that protesters are liberal demons who will take guns away from God fearing, heterosexual white patriots, force Bill Barr’s God out of government and crawl into bed with you in the middle of the night and have sex with you while you are sleeping.
Trump/Barr/Republican hypocrite fun fact: If the protesters were so dangerous and out of control at Lafayette Square in front of the White House a month ago, what in the fuck was the president of the United States doing walking outside, straight into the streets where angry black people and anarchists were for a photo op with a Bible and a church?
