So What?
Republicans are looking at assassination attempts of members of Congress and the violent failed overthrow of the US government the same way they do school shootings: So what?
Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn doesn’t want covid relief because the Democrats want to use it to drive their radical socialist agenda.
Gym Jordan doesn’t think his constituents need stimulus checks because paychecks are the best stimulus checks.
Lindsey Graham went on Fox News and told Howdy Doody Children of the Corn Trey Gowdy that he doesn’t want witnesses for Trump’s trial as if all of the jurors aren’t witnesses.
Nancy Mace went on Fox to do the both sides thing with Marjorie Taylor Greene: “There are crazies on both sides of the aisle. We’ve seen that. It’s not just Republicans that have our own issues. Democrats have them too. We’ve seen Maxine Waters.” So what? Maxine Waters isn’t a racist gun nut who encourages people to over take democracy so take your both sides argument and stick it up both sides.
Mitch McConnell finally said something about Marjorie Taylor Greene. He called her a lying loon and a cancer on the GOP. Too bad he waited so long to acknowledge the cancer. Not it’s too late. The cancer has spread and the GOP isn’t going to make it.
What’s the reaction to the news that the GOP has terminal cancer? So what?
Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez says nope. There won’t be any “moving on” from Republicans trying to kill her and other members of Congress. She has done a couple of livestreams where she has called out the Republicans, specifically Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley, white supremacy and everybody who had a hand in the attack on the Capitol. She recounted the trauma of barricading herself in her office bathroom and then Katie Porter’s office, thinking she was going to die and how the Capitol Police were unprepared in every possible way. Nope. No moving on until every single one of the people involved in the insurrection is held accountable for their part, admits it, and either resigns, is removed, or is prosecuted and jailed.
AOC haters say, “So what?” in response to her sharing her gut wrenching story about what it was like to be hunted down by deranged lunatics at work.
The guilty are hiding in plain site — in Congress.
Josh Hawley had his best fundraising month since he was elected in 2018 as a reward for his leadership in the insurrection from inside the Senate. The MAGA militia is sending him money now. Appalled? Josh says, “So what?”
Still no answers as to who disabled panic buttons in congress members’ offices.
Democrats in the House want Kevin McCarthy to take Marjorie Taylor Greene off of all committees within 72 hours or else they’ll do it.
Trump sent out a press release letting everybody know that his lawyer will be on TV talking about him and ended his release with “enjoy.” Trump refuses to answer to “former president.” He thinks he’s still the president.
10 senators met with President Biden for 2 hours in the Oval Office to give their input on covid relief. They let Susan Collins do all the talking after the meeting was over and she wasn’t disappointed so so what.
Republicans’ definition of bipartisan is they get everything they want and the Dems cave.
Republicans’ definition of “moving on” is we almost get away with literal murder and overtaking the government and the Dems are supposed to forget about it.
Today is Ground Hog day. Democrats have seen their shadow from Obama’s first 2 years in office when he and the Democrats in both houses were polite and hospitable and went out of their way to be bipartisan and the Republicans still screwed them and the country. Democrats are determined not to make the same mistake by being too accommodating to the evil Republicans like they were with the Affordable Care Act and the Recovery Act.
Republicans are flipping out and to that, the Democrats say, “So what?”
