Trump and the Republicans are in full on racist panic mode and are going really low to scrape up the bottom voters. Ted Cruz implied that Beto O’Rourke is funding the migrant caravan. Trump said Joe Donnelly will campaign with “Barack H. Obama” this weekend. He wrote out the “H” with his finger in the air.
Nigerian military shot people who threw rocks and circulated video of it with the clip of the American President saying the US military would shoot people who threw rocks.
A get-out-the-vote event at a Brooklyn synagogue had to be canceled after anti-semitic graffiti, including the words “Die Jew Rats,” was discovered scrawled on the temple’s walls. Swastikas were discovered on the Upper West Side. Same with a synagogue in Irvine, California. American anti-semites are feeling empowered.
Elementary school teachers in the Middletown School District in Idaho thought it would be really cute to come to school dressed up as a group of Mexicans (wearing the stereotypical sombrero and serape) and Trump’s wall for Halloween.
Someone went into a yoga studio in Florida and shot 7 people. 2 died. Yoga and guns. Only in America.
Michael Cohen wants everybody to know, days before the election, that Trump is a bigger racist than we already know. He says that Trump told him that black people were too stupid to vote for him, that there’s no way he would let a black fucking win on the first season of the Apprentice, and “Name one country run by a black person that’s not a shit hole. Or a city.”
The people standing behind Trump at his MAGA rallies are all white and look very bored.
Obama did a rally in Miami for Andrew Gillum and Bill Nelson. The people behind them in the bleachers looked like the real America — diverse and smiling.
Obama did a rally in Atlanta for Stacey Abrams. The people behind them in the bleachers were mostly black women and they looked ELATED.
In both of Obama’s inspirational speeches he laid out all of the facts. He told the truth. America had forgotten what that sounded like. He was centered. He was clear. He was poised, relaxed, confident, and hopeful. He was presidential.
There were MAGAs in the audience in Florida and every time they’d try to heckle Obama the audience would chant, “BRING IT HOME!” to drown them out. Obama kept his cool. “Why is it that the other side is always mad when they’ve already won?” He also asked them what they’re doing there, “Go to your own rally.”
Two judges in Georgia have stopped Secretary of State, Brian Kemp who is running against Stacey Abrams for Governor, from keeping people from voting.
A mind blowing 30% of Florida’s 13.2 million registered voters have already voted. Florida is on pace to shatter the all time record for midterm voter turnout.
Early voting and mail in ballots have already exceeded the overall voter turnout in Texas from 2014.
Women are voting more than men, in Georgia as much as 12 points. Young adults ages 18–29 have already voted early exponentially more than they did in 2014. Increases: Arizona +217%, Florida +131%, Georgia +415%, Michigan +128%, Nevada +364%, Tennessee +767%, Texas +448%.
There are plenty of black Georgians who were alive in the 60s when friends, neighbors and family members got lynched for trying to vote. They’ve lived long enough to see Obama and Oprah come to their state to campaign for the first possible female black governor. So there’s that one little nugget of goodness and hope in the pile of crap that has become America.
Trump has lied 6,420 times in 649 days. He’s lying as much as 30 times a day now since he’s so freaked out.
The media has stopped using “untruth” and “falsehoods” when talking about what Trump said and is using the word “lie” when reporting on Trump’s fascist bullshit. Finally.
Republican hypocrite fun fact. Senator Lindsey Graham is a MAGA hero. He’s campaigning for opponents of moderate Democrats and taking a lot of selfies with white people in MAGA hats. He’s gone from calling Trump a jack ass, kook, and a “race-baiting xenophobic religious bigot” to being Trump’s BFF. He’s gone from working with Democrats on comprehensive immigration legislation that included a pathway to citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants to backing Trump’s plan to end citizenship for anyone born to foreigners. Last year he said there would be holy hell to pay if Trump fired Jeff Sessions. Today he says Sessions needs to go.
