While the Republicans continue to tie debt forgiveness up in the courts, Biden has extended the pause on student loan payments and collections until June 30 and he’ll keep doing it until the Republicans knock it off or the courts decide. Thanks, Biden!
Kevin McCarthy held a press conference at the border to whip up some hate on immigrants on the day of another mass shooting, a couple of days after another mass shooting. Thanksgiving week in America wouldn’t be complete without a few hate crimes involving guns. Thanksgiving……..a national holiday where little kids in school are taught that Indians who liked the Pilgrims so much they made a big dinner for them and then handed their land over as a gift (after a few made for TV cowboy and Indian gun fights) then disappeared from the history books forever. Thanks, Indians! McCarthy called on Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to resign because he’s just letting immigrants pile in to squat on OUR LAND and demand a free dinner. He warned Mayorkas that the Republicans will investigate him and consider impeachment when they take control of the House in January. McCarthy isn’t even Speaker yet. He does not have the requisite 218 votes to become Trump’s speaker.
Instead of being outraged that 5 people were murdered in another mass shooting, the usual right wing cable news, hate radio, and internet assholes are outraged that the “woke” cops in Colorado Springs used the preferred pronouns of the deceased.
The second mass shooting in 3 days took place at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia. 6 people were killed and 4 are in hospital. A manager did it. He went into the break room, shot as many employees as he could and then shot and killed himself. One of the employees who made it out alive filmed the scene in the parking lot. He said he was used to this sort of thing. Thanks, Republicans.
A top election official in Maricopa County in Arizona, the place where Kari Lake, Fox News, and MAGA Republicans claimed there was voter fraud going on so that armed MAGAs would show up and terrorize voters had to move to an undisclosed location because he’s getting death threats. Thanks, Republicans.
The 11th Circuit Court has taken the Special Master off of Trump’s stolen documents case because his special judge that he appointed for Mar-a-Lago’s district, Aileen Cannon, “abused her authority.” That’s the end of Trump’s delay tactic and hopefully the end of Cannon’s career.
The Supreme Court ruled unanimously to send Trump’s tax returns to the House Ways and Means Committee, ending the 6 year battle of Trump refusing to release his taxes.
Lindsey Graham testified in front of the Fulton County grand jury for 2 hours and answered all questions. Governor Brian Kemp testified last week. So did Cassidy Hutchinson. Mike Flynn was supposed to testify yesterday. Newt Gingrich was ordered to but he’s fighting it.
CFO Allen Weisselberg cried on the stand during the Trump Organization trial. What for? He’s still on the Trump payroll for $640,000 a year and doesn’t even have to show up for work. He usually gets a $500,000 bonus at the end of the year. It’s being held over his head while he testifies. He gets to work with the Trump lawyers to prepare for testimony against them so what the hell is he crying for?
Michael Cohen is suing Trump for millions in legal fees and the DA has reopened the Stormy Daniels case after Alan Weisselberg testified. What did he say? Is that why he’s crying? Is this the thanks Trump gets for keeping him on the payroll?
The woman who Herschel Walker denied knowing after she came forward to say he forced her to get an abortion did another press conference with her attorney Gloria Allred. She had photos. They were together for 6 years and he met her parents. She has tapes too.
Herschel Walker did a TV interview flanked by Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham where he said that “this erection is about the people.”
Thanksgiving is tomorrow and some MAGAs who haven’t been disowned yet will show up for family Thanksgiving which should make the day extra weird for many. If they’re still in the cult keep them away from any alcohol. Forget about the truth while you endure dinner, for the MAGAs don’t want to be exposed as chumps. They want to live in silence with what they’ve done, thinking they’re doing you a favor by not praying to Trump and saying out loud how grateful they are for him before the big meal. Pretend like they’re not still in a cult and nobody will get hurt. Don’t bring up the past, don’t mention Trump, and don’t make any sudden movements. If they secretly have one foot out of the cult, but are refusing to take any responsibility for themselves do not force them to get woke and do their part to protect democracy. They really need to believe that democracy is not under threat because that would make them chumps. Some may leave their MAGA hats in the car and will want to pretend like they’re sleeping before and after dinner, hoping that no one will dare wake them up and that everybody will forget what an asshole they’ve been for 6 years. If they manage to not make a scene and ruin Thanksgiving for everybody, give thanks.
