That’s Rich
In this week’s episode of The Cheating Rich, 50 people got busted for bribing hoity toity colleges to accept mediocre rich kids who didn’t have the grades or the smarts. Rich people forcing their way to the front of the line is not news. They do it every day. Rich parents paid between $250,000 to $6.5 million each to admissions employees and coaches to get their spoiled brats into the schools of their choice. They also hired smart people to take their kids’ tests for them (probably poor smart kids working their way through college). The total amount of the bribe bust was $25,000,000.

Jared Kushner got into Harvard. That shocked his high school because he didn’t have the grades or the SAT scores.
Trump had to have paid for Beavis, Butthead, and Ivanka to get into college. Those kids are dumber than a wagon full of shaving cream.
For every rich kid who got in to college, a poor or working class straight A kid who worked her ass off did not. Rich kids are taking spots away from worthy applicants, not Affirmative Action.
Trump’s budget calls for ending the student loan forgiveness program.
There are black and brown parents sitting in jail right now who lied about where they lived to get their kids into a decent public elementary school.
Trump’s budget will increase the national debt by 50% to $22.8 trillion in 2025 because when you’re rich and famous they’ll let you do it.
Meanwhile in California, Governor Gavin Newsom signed an executive order to put a moratorium on the death penalty. “I do not believe that a civilized society can claim to be a leader in the world as long as its government continues to sanction the premeditated and discriminatory execution of its people.” This order gives temporary reprieves to 737 condemned inmates on death row, the largest in the nation.
The New York attorney general’s office issued subpoenas to Deutsche Bank and Investors Bank for records relating to the financing of 4 major Trump Organization projects and a failed effort to buy the Buffalo Bills. We’ll soon find out that Trump isn’t as rich as he claims he is.
Mitch McConnell is going to let the Senate vote tomorrow on the resolution to block Trump’s national emergency declaration for his wall monument. If it passes, Trump will be the first president in 40 years to have his national emergency blocked by Congress.
Dick’s Sporting Goods will no longer sell guns at its 125 locations.
2 Boeing 737 Max 8 airplanes have crashed in the past 5 months. Boeing’s CEO Dennis Muilenburg told Trump while yucking it up with rich people at Mar-a-Lago that everything is fine. They just sold a bunch to Vietnam.
Dennis Muilenburg is really, really rich. He received $18.5 million in compensation in 2017, 166 times more than the total compensation earned by the median Boeing worker.
The former Boeing CEO is the US Secretary of Defense.
Boeing gave $1 million to Trump’s inauguration fund.
The FAA does not have a permanent director and it hasn’t since Trump first sat his spoiled rich lazy fat ass down on what he regards as his throne in the Oval Office.

Paul Manafort is getting sentenced today after pleading guilty to 2 conspiracy charges. He could be sentenced to a maximum of 5 years per count.
