The America Republicans Want
Mitch McConnell says he’s not going to let Biden fill any Supreme Court seats if the repugs take back the Senate. He blocked Merrick Garland 8 months before a presidential election but confirmed Amy Coney Barrett 8 days before another election after 65 million people had already voted. Controlling and running the judicial branch is what Republicans want.
Former Russia loving Congressman Dana Rohrabacher from Orange County was at the January 6th insurrection. This is the kind of American Republicans want. Total traitors.
The Republican party is down playing the attack on the Capitol. This isn’t the America they want because they’re not done yet.
Until Republicans in Congress pay the price for undermining the election and attacking the Capitol they’ll keep going until they get what they want. They are blowing up democracy and taking control of government in plain sight.
Boeing, who profits off of war, has resumed making political donations to 3 members of the Sedition Caucus who fought to overthrow the results of the election: Steve Scalise, Vicky Hartzler, and Jack Bergman.
Republicans love war because it’s very profitable and they get to flex their patriotic muscle to seize power and control. They get off on it. It’s the America they want — we’re king of the world!
Marjorie Taylor Greene did a lonesome press event outside of the Holocaust Museum to apologize for comparing wearing masks to the Holocaust. She just learned what must people already know, that having to comply with a mandate for the sake of public health isn’t the same as being rounded up, beaten, starved, worked to death, stripped naked, forced to live in filthy conditions and then murdered for being Jewish.
Anybody serving in Congress should have a comprehensive understanding of the most evil monstrosity in human history and possess the common sense to never compare it to anything else, but that’s not the America Republicans want. Keep people stupid and ignorant of the past, even tools in their own party, so they can do it again.
Ted Cruz did the most Ted Cruz thing yesterday, on Flag Day. He posted a 15 second video of himself standing right next to the American Flag with his hand over his heart, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance with the caption, “This didn’t use to be controversial.” Wrong flag, Ted.
ERCOT, the failed energy company of Texas, has asked Texans to cut back on energy consumption for June because the grid can’t take everybody cranking up the air conditioner while doing laundry, washing dishes and running 3 freezers that hold the cut up remains of whatever Texans shoot, kill and eat for kicks. Ted Cruz is prepared to go further than south of the border on the 4th of July if the grid crashes again. If Texans start dying from the heat, he’ll head for south of the equator where it’s winter right now. Maybe take the kids skiing because he’s such a good dad.
No regulation, privatize everything, and head south if anything goes wrong. That’s the America Republicans want.
The House Judiciary Committee is opening an investigation into Trump spying on members of Congress, the news media, and others. Republicans don’t want this because they’re trying to create a totalitarian government where they can spy on whoever they want whenever they want.
The cops in Denver have shot and killed a total of 5 people in the past 30 days. This is the America Republicans want.
Somebody got so pissed about having to wear a mask in a Georgia grocery store that they shot and killed the cashier. This is the America Republicans want.
Today begins with 2 reported mass shootings — 2 people were killed and 2 others injured after an employee started shooting at fellow workers in a fire hydrant factory in Albertville, Alabama and at least 7 people, including a child, have been injured in the second mass shooting in Chicago in 4 days. This is the America Republicans want.
Republicans are more upset about children learning about systemic racism in school than they are about them getting shot at school. That’s the America they want. Keep people in the dark about the truth, living in fear, so they can maintain power.
Power and domination and all the money and all the resources, all for them. That’s what Republicans want.
