Out and proud white nationalist 9 term congressman, Steve King, has lost his seat! While people were in the streets calling white supremacy out, Iowa had it’s primary last night and King got the boot plus a great win in Ferguson, Missouri, the city where black teenager Michael Brown was killed by a white cop in 2014. They elected their first black mayor — Ella Jones (she’s their first female mayor, too.)
Former officials from the George W. Bush administration have formed a super PAC to get Joe Biden elected.
It’s Josephine Baker’s birthday today. She was born in 1906 in St Louis, Missouri, the descendant of slaves. She got the hell out of America via vaudeville and the Harlem Renaissance by moving to Paris where she became a really big star. Nobody called her nigger in Paris or made her use the back door. She was a civil rights activist in the 50s after being denied reservations at 36 hotels in New York and denied service at the Stork Club because she was black. She spoke alongside Martin Luther King Jr at the March on Washington in 1963.
Hospital workers stepped outside in their scrubs to clap and cheer for the BLM protesters as they walked by in New York.

Trump is still president and is claiming that he didn’t hide in the bunker, he merely inspected it. Anybody who reports otherwise is fake news.
Turns out that Trump’s personal attorney Bill Barr was the one who ordered the cops to clear the way by gassing people so Trump could get his picture taken at the burned church across the street. It was he who called in more military to attack US citizens. More soldiers showed up in front of the White House who refused to identify themselves. They just said they were with the “The Department of Justice.”
To show citizens who’s boss, Trump had soldiers line up shoulder to shoulder on the Lincoln Memorial, sent tanks through the streets of DC and had a Lakota Helicopter hover so low above protesters it snapped limbs off trees and blew signs off of buildings. This is a military tactic meant to scatter insurgents. He also deployed combat soldiers with bayonets used to stab people.
Mitch McConnell blocked a resolution condemning Trump’s military response to peaceful protests. Any Republican who was asked whether or not they condoned what Trump did refused to answer.
Secretary of Defense Mark Esper says he didn’t know that he was going to get his picture taken with Trump at the burned church across the street.
Trump and the gang are throwing the girls under the bus for the botched photo op at St. John’s Church. They’re blaming Hope Hicks and Ivanka for the bad idea. They regret now that they didn’t bring a token black person with them.
Kellyanne Conway says it’s wrong to call Trump’s walk to St. John’s Church a photo-op. That is “calling into question” Trump’s faith.

While the country burns and people die from the plague, the Republican Senate has been busy confirming super conservative judges and conducting hearings on Obamagate.
A month ago MAGAs were screaming “tyranny!” when asked to stay home to slow the spread of a deadly virus. Today they’re screaming “go home or the cops will shoot you in the face, libtards!”
Trump tweeted: My Admin has done more for the Black Community than any President since Abraham Lincoln. Passed Opportunity Zones with Senator Tim Scott, guaranteed funding for HBCU’s, School Choice, passed Criminal Justice Reform, lowest Black unemployment, poverty, and crime rates in history……AND THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
