The Coronagate Tapes
Lordy, there are tapes!
Tapes were released of Trump telling author Bob Woodward, one of the Washington Post reporters who broke the Watergate story who has already written one book about Trump (“Fear”) that he obviously hasn’t read or else he wouldn’t have agreed to do more interviews. They reveal to the world, in his own voice, that he knew he was sending Americans to their deaths on February 7 (2 days after he was acquitted by Senate Republicans) by admitting that the coronavirus was “more deadly than your — you know, your, even your strenuous flus.” 3 weeks later he told the public, “I think that’s a problem that’s going to go away,” knowing full well that it was “deadly stuff.” He was just trying to “play it down” so people wouldn’t panic. He meant markets. He didn’t want the markets to panic.
Bob Woodward recorded Trump 18 times, with Trump’s permission, to write his second book, “Rage.” Nobody inside the White House knew about the interviews. Nobody inside the White House knows half of the stuff that goes on in there. It’s pure chaos and we’re all going to die.
They knew how deadly the virus was, though. Republicans did too. And they’re STILL trying to force everything back to “normal.” The Trump administration and Republicans in Congress are all guilty of causing massive, unnecessary suffering and death. This is a crime against humanity. Hitler didn’t even kill his own people.
Not only did Republicans know and not say anything, but they alerted their big donors so they could all cash in on it. 2 senators, Richard Burr and Kelly Loeffler, in particular profited from the virus.
Trump has done all of the talking on the subject so he can use the spotlight to repeat the same lie on a daily basis, per the Nazi playbook, to keep MAGAs worked up and sweaty and stupid on his behalf. He won’t let the CDC or Dr. Fauci talk (Dr. Fauci is quoted in the book as saying that Trump was rudderless, has a negative attention span and doesn’t care about anything except getting re elected.)
He knew in February and not only didn’t take the necessary steps to shut down the country to keep the deadly virus from spreading, but he didn’t come up with a national strategy and mandates, arrange for testing, or even take public health officials’ advice. He went even further by withholding aid from blue states to punish them politically. He killed people.
Reckless homicide or genocide?
The Senate Republicans all sat together for lunch a couple of hours after the news broke that the president that they have been enabling and covering for for 4 years is on tape admitting to mass murder without mentioning it. It was a nice Republican lunch. No sweat. They’re going to have to start defending Trump with the excuse that he was protecting the country from mass panic (Lindsey Graham said, “I don’t think he needs to go on TV and screaming we’re all going to die,”) because if they don’t, they’ll all go down for having helped him shoot 200,000 people on 5th Avenue.
Meanwhile, back at the White House, Pence is praying to Republican Jesus to get him out of this. He’s going to go down in a New York minute because he was the HEAD of the Coronavirus Task Force. Perhaps Republican Jesus isn’t the right go-to for this one. This could be a job for QAnon. Pence is scheduled to speak at a QAnon fundraiser next week.
Trump tried pacifying and seducing Republicans by making a big announcement after the news broke. He has made his picks for justices for SCOTUS for his second term! Tom Cotton and Ted Cruz are 2 of them. He picked Ted Cruz because Michael Cohen’s book revealed that Trump was personally responsible for starting the rumor about Ted Cruz’s dad assasinating Kennedy, right down to demanding the story be on the cover of the National Enquirer. Smoothing that one over with a seat on the Supreme Court bench should do it. Tom Cotton immediately tweeted out that it was time for Roe v Wade to go. Excellent. EXCELLENT….!
Trump denied the virus, downplayed it, and blamed the Democrats for it hundreds of times over the past 9 months. He has been telling people NOT to wear masks. He has demanded that businesses open and kids go back to school. Millions of people are sick and soon 200,000 will be dead. If he had taken action like a real president back in February, that number would be reduced by 85%. He tanked our economy and put people out on the street. HE KILLED HIS OWN PEOPLE.
The president of the United States has knowingly been spreading a deadly disease. He is actively killing Americans. This is worse than being impeached for extorting a foreign country for political gain. He should be impeached again AND put on trial for mass murder.
But that’s not all. There’s a new whistleblower. Brian Murphy at the Department of Homeland Security (the part of the government that is supposed to keep us safe from terrorist attacks,) has come forward to say department officials were instructed by Trump’s appointees to play along with nonexistent threats like Antifa and dangerous immigrants storming the border and to lie about Russia interfering with the elections to match Trump’s version of reality. Whatever Trump says from the podium must be backed up by the department. Murphy was told by Acting Homeland Secretary, Chad Wolf and his deputy, Ken Cuccinelli, to modify white supremacist threats (the only real threats) in such a way that they would appear less severe and to play up “Antifa” and dangerous “left wing” anarchist groups. There is no Antifa threat or an immigrant invasion. The threat comes from within.
Trump admitting to mass murder on tape won’t matter to his MAGA cult. They’re the Manson Family. Charlie’s girls cut x’s into their foreheads to show their loyalty to Charlie. MAGAs tattoo Trump’s name into theirs.
Coronagate is way worse than Watergate but nobody has resigned.
