The Early Days of Marjorie Taylor Greene

QAnon weirdo Marjorie Taylor Greene ran unopposed in 2020 in northwest Georgia, after buying a condo in the district. She could easily afford another residence after inheriting a bunch of money and a construction business from her parents (she boasts about being self-made). Her district is so deep gun nut evangelical red (15% have college degrees) that Democrats are as uncommon as “Jesus was a Liberal” bumper stickers. The Democratic party is so weak there that the only guy they could run in 2018 was a lefty nudist. Marjorie Taylor Greene did have a Democratic opponent for a month, but he dropped out after being harassed and threatened by gun nuts. She carried an AR-15 around on the campaign trail like a purse and drove a Humvee. Her first major ad featured her barreling across a field in her Humvee blasting targets labeled “open borders” and “socialism” with her AR-15. Her public image was a rich and fit blonde who loved guns and Jesus and hated Muslims and the Clintons. She promoted conspiracy theories like Bill and Hillary Clinton were murderers, Obama was a Muslim, and QAnon was for real. She supported murderer Kyle Rittenhouse and said that him killing two people was the first stage of a “new civil war.” After winning the election she sponsored a bill to award him with the congressional gold medal.

She raffled off one of her guns to promote her campaign — “Guns and ammo are selling out EVERYWHERE because of the Biden/Antifa riots. I’m giving away this beautiful gun I used in my campaign ad to one of my followers. Enter to win!” She used another gun in an ad in which she pointed towards congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib saying they are illegitimate House members because they swore in on the Quran.

She refused to wear a mask in Congress during the height of COVID. She tweeted: Our first session of New Member Orientation covered COVID in Congress. Masks, masks, masks….I proudly told my freshman class that masks are oppressive. In GA, we work out, shop, go to restaurants, go to work, and school without masks. My body, my choice. #FreeYourFace

While the Capitol was under attack, she and several other Republicans all sat together, maskless. Everybody else worse a mask because COVID was really bad and the vaccine wasn’t available yet. They refused to do what was necessary to keep their colleagues safe. Later on, she refused to wear it while she was in the Capitol, even though it was mandatory, so she got fined. She and Andrew Clyde incurred more than $100,000 in combined fines, which was taken directly from their paychecks.

She made a speech on the House floor wearing a mask with big letters written across it, “CENSORED.”

She called proof of vaccine cards, “vaccine passports” and said it was “Biden’s mark of the beast.” Any company that required people to have one was engaging in “corporate communism.” She compared vaccinations and masks with the Holocaust. On Fox News she called them “exactly the type of abuse” as murdering Jews in gas chambers during the Holocaust.

One of the first things she did after being sworn in was file Articles of Impeachment on President Biden without cause.

She authored a bill to cut Dr Fauci’s salary to $0.

She believes that 9/11 was done by the US government and that Sandy Hook and other school shootings never happened. The Las Vegas shooting in 2017 was staged to take everybody’s guns away (58 people were murdered).

She thinks that the California wildfires were started by a laser beam from outer space that somehow involved the Jews.

She referred to her colleague Congresswoman Marie Newman who has a transgender daughter as “Marie Newperson.” She tried to block the Equality Act to discriminate against the transgender community, which she hates. She put up a large sign outside of her office, “There are two genders: male and female. Trust the science.”

Another colleague, Congresswoman Cori Bush, asked to have her office moved to get away from Marjorie Taylor Greene after being confronted by her and her team in the hallway on their way to vote. Marjorie came up behind her filming with her phone, talking loudly. Cori told her to put on a mask and a member of her team yelled back, “Stop inciting violence with Black Lives Matter!”

Marjorie Taylor Greene and her staff treat the halls of Congress like the halls of high school.

She’s so dumb she doesn’t know how dumb she is. She knows little of American history, doesn’t understand how the government is supposed to work, doesn’t know the difference between the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence. She claimed that 6 billion illegal immigrants have crossed our border. There are 7.8 billion people in the world. She said Guam was a “foreign country that shouldn’t receive aid from the United States.” Guam is a part of the United States.

She’s a white nationalist. She started her own caucus for whites only called, “America First.” Their mission was to “to push for Anglo Saxon political tradition.” She has spoken at a number of white nationalist conferences.

She’s a racist. She hates the Black Lives Matter movement but swears its not because she’s racist. “I know a ton of white people that are as lazy and sorry and probably worse than black people.”

She’s a sexist. “I’m going to tell you right now what is a woman. We came from Adam’s rib. God created us with his hands. We may be the weaker sex, we are the weaker sex, but we are our partner’s, our husband’s wife.” She crashed a press event on the steps of the Capitol to heckle Democratic women speaking on women’s rights. Her chief of staff was so mortified they resigned.

She’s a gun nut. She tormented teenaged gun violence survivor David Hogg on a street corner in DC a few months after the Parkland shooting. She followed him and hounded him with right wing gun nut talking points, and told him that she had a gun on her. She called him Little Hitler. It was all caught on video and went viral. Another video turned up of her stalking him and his high school friends inside the Capitol, telling him he was too young to know that he was being used by the left. She told the kids that legislating guns wasn’t going to stop people from killing them. Killers could use machetes like they do in Africa.

She’s an election denier. She made crazy videos of herself talking QAnon nonsense in her hotel rooms and the gym then posted them. She mocked the peaceful transfer of power. “You can’t allow it to just transfer power ‘peacefully’ like Joe Biden wants and allow him to become our president. Because he did not win this election. It’s being stolen and the evidence is there.” Another video showed her at the White House in late December 2020 saying she had a “great planning session for our January 6th objection. We aren’t going to let this election be stolen by Joe Biden and the Democrats. President Trump won by a landslide.”

She called for a “national divorce” and civil war.

She was so outrageous and awful during her first term that the Democrats, who held the majority in the House, told Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to remove her from all committees or they would. All but 11 Republicans went on record to support a noxious, toxic, conspiracy believing, anti-Semitic, Islamophobe, racist QAnon member of Congress. The final vote to remove her from committees was 230 to 199. She took getting kicked off of committees as a compliment. She bragged that she’d have more time to make more trouble. With so much idle time on her hands, she had more time to make trouble by adjourning meetings, grandstanding and fundraising. She called the Democrats plus the 11 Republicans who voted against her “morons.”

She said members of Congress like herself should be considered successful by how many programs they end, not by the number of bills they passed.

As a brand new rookie member of Congress, she got very close to the president, which was suspicious. She helped plan the insurrection. She was at the White House meeting in December with other members of Congress to talk about John Eastman’s plan to throw the election back to the states.

On the day before the insurrection, she made a video standing in front of the Capitol saying that Trump won the election and tomorrow they’re going to do something about it.

She asked for a pardon after only being in Congress for 3 days.

Her re-election campaign was challenged because it violated the 14th Amendment which says you can’t run for office if you’ve participated in an insurrection. The judge went easy on her and she got to run again. She “won” again.
