Now that Trump can’t keep his records hidden, the Select Committee has received two drafts of tweets he sent the day before the attack on the Capitol, a legal memo, and a note that was handwritten on White House stationery. The Committee sent Ivanka a respectful 9 page letter laying out what they already know about her role in the insurrection and politely asked her to come in and have a little chat with them about her dad. Will she respect and accept the invitation or thumb her nose at the Committee like everybody else in the crime family has?
Stephanie Grisham, one of Trump’s press secretaries who had so little respect for the White House press corps that she never held a single press conference and would later cash in on her gig by writing a book, is now saying that Trump held secret meetings upstairs in the White House before the insurrection that were arranged by his chief of staff, Mark Meadows.
Speaking of Trump’s press secretaries, new texts reveal that Kayleigh McEnany sought out Sean Hannity’s advice on how to handle Trump the day after the riot since he’s an expert at calming the baby down. He gave her tips out of his “playbook.”
Rudy Giuliani and the Trump campaign are the ones who are behind states submitting forged certifications that say Trump won when he didn’t. This isn’t getting the media attention that it should. The coup was well thought out, but it failed because everybody who was in charge of implementing the plan were a bunch of stooges. The stoogiest stooge of all was Trump. He fucked up his own coup.
Nick Fuentes and Patrick Casey, two leaders of the white supremacist America First movement who were at the Capitol on January 6, have been subpoenaed by the Select Committee.
Edward Vallejo, one of the 11 Oath Keepers that was charged last week for seditious conspiracy along with leader Stewart Rhodes, had a federal detention hearing and the judge told him he wasn’t going anywhere. He has to sit in jail until his trial because he’s a dangerous lunatic. He had a cache of weapons he was intending to use on January 6 that he kept stored at the Comfort Inn where he was staying during the insurrection — 3 luggage carts of gun boxes, rifle cases, and suit cases filled with ammunition and enough supplies for 30 days. He also had guns stored in cars outside in the parking lot and attempted to release a recon drone that failed. A guy like that shouldn’t live in society but the Republicans have made these guys “normal.”
The Fulton County DA has asked the court to impanel a special grand jury in her investigation into Trump and Lindsey Graham interfering with the Georgia election so they can start subpoenaing people. They’ve been respectful and have asked politely but to no avail, so it’s time to play hardball.
Trump’s Minnie Me and governor of his home state, Ron DeSantis has proposed a special police force to monitor elections. He wants to spend $6 million to enforce Jim Crow law. Anybody who violates their new Republican restrictive laws will be arrested. All voters will not be respected.
General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs, has covid. He’s vaxxed and boosted so his symptoms are minor. Laura Ingraham clapped on air when she shared the news with her cult audience. She would have clapped louder if he was in the hospital. Disrespectful, horrible woman.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has tested positive for covid. He won’t say if he has been vaccinated or how sick he is, but he sure has been outspoken about being against vaccine mandates. Laura didn’t clap for him because she respects him too much.
During an online meeting of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, Republican Congressboy Madison Cawthorn pulled out his gun that he keeps in his office and started cleaning it on camera to look tough in front of the vets on the call. It was a really stupid, childish, insecure, and disrespectful thing to do. They were supposed to be talking about how toxic chemicals in burn pits are killing US soldiers but Madison doesn’t understand that so he wanted to show off for the guys. When his communications director and babysitter, Luke Ball, was asked if playing with his pistol during an official Congressional meeting was appropriate he replied, “What could possibly be more patriotic than guns and veterans?”
Lauren Boebert, Billy Madison’s drop out female Congressional counterpart, asked a group of Jewish visitors who were touring the Capitol if they were doing “reconnaissance.” Disrespectful, anti-Semitic horrible wench.
Like Billy Madison, Lauren Boebert is a spoiled child, an idiot who doesn’t belong in Congress. She tweeted: “59% of Democrats support putting unvaccinated people on house arrest and 48% think people who question the vaccine only should be jailed. This is who we’re supposed to be playing nice with?”
What does the modern day Republican party respect? Certainly not the Constitution or they would never have forsaken our democracy just to hold on to power. They don’t respect the office of the presidency or they wouldn’t have enabled Trump and promoted the Big Lie. They don’t respect all Americans or they wouldn’t sabotage the vote. Republicans don’t respect anything — not the planet, not their children, not their neighbors, not even themselves or each other.
No respect for the institutions of government, the future, the country, or the world. We can’t go on like this. This has got to be -
