The Finale

Trump’s defense wrapped up their closing arguments today. Attorney Todd Blanche made the judge really mad when he told the jury that they should think twice before “sending a man to prison.” Their only job is to decide whether Trump is guilty or not, not whether he should go to prison. Blanche knows better and the judge called him out on it.

Before entering the courthouse this morning, Trump gave a speech to the media where he accused the judge of being corrupt. He claimed the whole thing was election interference — Joe Biden is going after a political opponent. He called it a rigged case and a dangerous day for America. Nobody has ever seen anything like it before.

Family members showed up on the last day of the trial in lieu of the red tie brigade. Junior, Bleeding Gums Eric and his wife Lara, and Tiffany stood behind him while he spoke to the press. No Melania, Jared or Ivanka.

The Biden/Harris campaign did a press conference outside of the courthouse, just like the red tie brigade. Officers Harry Dunn and Michael Fanone were there, as well as life long New Yorker Robert DeNiro. A few red hats heckled him as he spoke. He said New York has always thought Trump was an imposter, joke, clown, and wanna-be. He was nothing more than a tabloid celebrity. New Yorkers have been on to Trump since the 80s. The Trump con started in the 80s during the “greed is good” era. They blew him off for years while he built his fake persona and fake empire. They knew Trump was a fake long before the rest of the country did. At the end of DeNiro’s remarks, a MAGA yelled out that Harry Dunn and Michael Fanone were “traitors.” DeNiro put the idiot in his place. “They stood there. They didn’t have to. They stood there and fought for us. They fought for you, buddy. You’re able to stand right here. They are the true heroes. I’m honored to be with these two heroes today.” When MAGAs yelled at him while he was leaving, DeNiro called them all “gangsters.”

Prosecutors are making their closing arguments now which means the jury will either get the case at the end of the day or tomorrow. This is a historic moment. Unfortunately, the mainstream media hasn’t done much to prepare the country for the fact that a former president and current candidate for president could be a convicted felon by the end of the week. They’re still calling this a “hush money case.”

The federal judge overseeing Trump’s classified documents espionage case, Aileen Canon, denied the special counsel’s motion to gag Trump so he can’t say and post things that could get law enforcement hurt or killed. She never rules this fast. She drags her feet on everything in order to draw things out to help Trump but in this case she ruled right away to help Trump. He is free now to keep claiming that Biden and the FBI tried to assassinate him. Now the FBI is going to need its own security.

Over the Memorial Day weekend: 1. Trump attacked E. Jean Carroll on Truth Social for a third time and could get sued again. 2. At NASCAR, Trump saluted during the singing of “Amazing Grace” (remember when he saluted the North Koreans?) while the guy next to him placed his hand over his heart. They looked like a couple of 8 year olds at a Memorial Day Parade. 3. Veterans and military families got kicked out of the North Carolina Republican Party convention after they tried to get attendees to commit to a pledge that would condemn violence incited by Trump and respect for the peaceful transfer of power. 4. Somebody tried to drive a flatbed carrying a giant painted rock memorializing Ashli Babbitt into the Arlington National Cemetery. Security kicked them out.

Someone spotted Marjorie Taylor Greene leaning up against the wall at the airport. She called her a “Bleach Blonde, Bad Built, Butch Body” right to her face, on video. Marjorie was too stunned to speak. Over the Memorial Day weekend, Marjorie posted a picture of herself in a bikini.
