The Neverending Story
The Mueller Report is back. A judge has ordered the memo that Bill Barr tampered with be released. The memo is about whether or not to charge Trump with obstruction of the Russia investigation back at the very beginning of the Trump Neverending Story.
Barr lied about the Mueller investigation, and he kept on lying to cover up the lies that both he and Trump told. Bill Barr rewrote the Trump story in real time and then went on to rewrite his own life story in a memoir. The media never called him out. They normalized him like they normalized Trump. He may look like a good guy because he jumped ship a couple of weeks before the insurrection and called Trump’s scheme to steal the election “bullshit” during a deposition, but he’s a villain in the never ending story. He was in on the fake slate of electors plot until it got too wild, he was part of the shake down of Ukraine, and he sabotaged the Mueller Report. A federal appeals court found that Barr never seriously considered charging Trump with obstructing the Mueller investigation. He called Barr’s memo, which is about how to spin the Mueller Report for the public and Congress, an “academic exercise” and a “thought experiment.”
Bob Mueller found 10 cases of obstruction of Justice for his report. The report resulted in 199 criminal charges, 37 indictments, and 5 prison sentences. He saved Trump for last, turning that part over to Bill Barr but he changed the story. The judge has asked the DOJ to redact Barr’s memo and release it to the public.
Lindsey Graham was supposed to testify before a grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia tomorrow per a court order but his lawyer is going to try and drag things out as long possible by delaying his testimony. A federal appeals court agreed to temporarily put on hold the lower court’s order requiring him to testify.
Mitch McConnell has acknowledged that the repugs are going to lose the Senate because their candidates all suck.
Fox News’ Sean Hannity blamed Mitch McConnell for running crummy candidates and wants to write him out of the story. He called for him to step down as minority leader or resign from the Senate.
Fox News hosts Lou Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro have been specifically named in the Dominion defamation lawsuit.
If the Dems take the Senate and keep the House, they can codify Roe v Wade, get rid of the filibuster that the Republicans have been abusing to stop the Democrats from passing anything in the Senate such as voting rights, plus free community college, universal pre-k, elder care, child tax credit, paid family leave, dental and vision for Medicare, all of the things that were in the Build Back Better bill that didn’t make it into the Inflation Reduction Act.
The grand jury is subpoenaing White House records leading up to January 6.
Breaking into the Democratic headquarters to find out what they were up to and lying about it was the presidential scandal of all time until Trump came along. Nixon got rid of 18 minutes on the Watergate tapes. Trump got rid of 7 hours of White House call logs plus made texts disappear from the Secret Service, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Defense on the day of a violent attempt to overthrow the government.
Trump’s lawyers are so shitty that they haven’t filed anything in court to challenge court decisions on top of admitting to crimes on Fox News. Republicans are beginning to back away from Trump. They have barely acknowledged the FBI raiding Mara-A-Lago. They’ve been very, very quiet. Alex Jones has abandoned Trump and publicly endorsed Ron DeSantis even though neither one of them has declared that they’re running for president in 2024.
