They’ve Got The Whole World In Their Hands
America is anxiously awaiting what 2 Democrats in name only are going to do this week. Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema are king and queen of the world. Guardians of the threshold to the filibuster and friends to the evil Republicans, we’re sitting on EpiPens and covid needles waiting to see what these 2 egomaniacs are going to do. Will they let the Republicans take us and the whole world down, or will they do right by the country and the future of mankind?
In other horrible, skanky news, after decades of sex trafficking young girls, R&B hip hop singer R Kelly has been found guilty on all 9 counts. It’s taken over a decade to get this guy, because like Jeffrey Epstein, he had quite a sophisticated operation going on and was able to evade the law. The trial has been going on for a month but we didn’t hear about it every day because his victims were all black.
1 in 5 black women and girls are victims of sexual assault but only 1 in 15 report it.
Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota is in the news again. This time for using her power to get her mediocre daughter a job. Her daughter wanted to be a real estate appraiser but the agency that licenses appraisers denied her application. This pissed the “Don’t You Know Who I Am Let Me Speak to Manager Miss Karen of South Dakota” off. She demanded to see the employee who denied her daughter in her office, as well as the employee’s supervisor and the state labor secretary. Her spoiled brat entitled daughter was there too. She got the license and the head of the agency was forced to resign. Kristi Noem blamed the whole thing on the liberal media.
Republican in sheep’s Forever 21 clothing, Krysten Sinema, is in the news again. She’s enjoying all the power she has, protecting the filibuster and the Republicans while threatening to destroy voting rights, Biden’s agenda, and pretty much the world. She must have had a really shitty childhood to want Daddy Mitch McConnell’s approval so much and to seek so much revenge on so many. She’s confused about who she is, she’s unqualified for the job (she’s gone from being a far left member of the Green Party to an undeclared Republican.) She’s with the Republicans on not wanting the rich or corporations to pay for the infrastructure bill, is really cozy with the Chamber of Commerce and is against the government negotiating drug prices. Why? Money money money. Later today she’s attending a speed dating/fundraising event where 5 big business lobbying groups will each get a finite amount of time with her to lobby her to vote against the budget bill and then hand her a check. Her strategy must be to cash in as much as possible before she gets voted out or she’s going to switch parties and become a Republican just like she switched from the Green Party to Democrat.
Krysten Sinema had Democrats in Arizona fooled when they voted for her in 2018. They thought that since she was once a social worker and a lawyer for a school district, had grown up poor (she claims to have been homeless for a couple of years,) had governing experience having served in the Arizona legislature for 14 years, wasn’t rich (she was still paying off student loan debt when she was elected to the Senate,) had been a Green Party activist, organized anti-war protests and went on to be a leader of the Democratic party in Arizona meant that she was liberal and had first hand knowledge of the sufferings of average Americans. It didn’t hurt that she identified as non-theist and bisexual either. How does one go from working on Ralph Nader’s campaign and criticizing capitalism to voting with Trump 25% of the time, caring so much about what old white male Republicans think of her, and being pro-pharma and big business?
Krysten Sinema is the Joe Manchin of the west.
Joe Mansion is the chair of the Senate energy committee. His biggest donors are coal, oil and gas. He’s filthy rich. Much of his fortune comes from the dying coal industry in his state. He made $5.5 million alone last year from coal. His daughter was the former President and CEO of Mylan, the infamous pharmaceutical company that inflated the cost of their life saving allergy drug, EpiPen. Joe said the government was too generous with covid stimulus checks even though he represents the 6th poorest state where generations of people only know how to do one thing — mine coal. He’s writing the climate proposal for the energy committee. He gets such special treatment that he gets face to face alone time with Joe Biden and his wife was given a job. Nearly 80% of Joe Manchin’s constituents support the For the People Act but he doesn’t care. He only listens to the Republicans and his donors. He thinks of himself as the Republican Whisperer and, like Krysten Sinema, is a great defender of the filibuster. Has Joe Manchin ever gotten 10 Republicans to vote for anything? Oh hell no. They didn’t even vote for covid relief. Unlike Krysten Sinema, he has never gone through an identity crisis. He’s a rich white male in America, the very tippy top of the world power structure. He expects to be stroked every day, all day for it is his birth right.
