Throw Another Impeachment Article on the Barbie
Trump committed another crime and confessed to it on camera when he told the press while standing in front of the White House and Air Force One that he thought that not only should Ukraine look into the Bidens, but China should too. Always the big shot, he said that if China doesn’t cooperate, we have a lot of leveraging power.
Trump not only had a phone conversation with the president of Ukraine to extort cooperation for his 2020 campaign, but he had a phone conversation with President Xi of China, too. He asked him not only to dig up dirt on Biden but give him dirt on Elizabeth Warren, too. In exchange Trump promised Xi US silence on the Hong Kong democracy protests.
What’s next? Will he go to all 192 countries to bribe them into intervening in the US election so he can stay out of jail?
Kurt Volker testified for 9 ½ hours. He admitted that he played a role in helping Rudy Giuliani negotiate with Ukraine but he doesn’t want to go to jail so he cut his losses and decided to cooperate, defying Mike Pompeo and the White House. He produced evidence that Trump’s campaign solicited help from Ukraine using the US military as leveraging power. Poor Ukraine. It’s a young country that has always been corrupt and it wants to change and be a good country that all of the other good countries will want to hang around. The people elected a new president, Volodymyr Zelensky, to clean up the corruption and the United States, who Ukraine has been dependent upon to help them clean up their corruption, wants to corrupt him. Ukranians refer to their president as Monica Zelensky.
Have we given Trump enough rope yet?
Mike Pence defended Trump against impeachment and Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin said Trump did not solicit Ukraine’s cooperation. Senator Joni Ernst, when confronted by a constituent at a town hall, said she doesn’t want to jump to any conclusions. All the other Republicans won’t come out of their houses. The really guilty ones are hiding under their beds and the gay ones are sitting in their closets, as usual.
Another whistleblower has come forward to say that “inappropriate steps” were taken to influence Trump’s tax audit.
Today is the deadline for Mike Pompeo to produce documents to multiple House committees regarding Trump’s call with the Ukrainian president.
Twitter finally took one of Trump’s tweets down. It was a clip of the Bidens in a Nickelback video. It got taken down for copyright infringement. The tweets inciting violence, slandering elected officials, and signaling abetment to foreign enemies can stay up. Trump gets a lot of clicks and the man with the most clicks always wins.
Kamala Harris started a petition to get Trump kicked off of Twitter. Clickety clack don’t look back.
A new Trump Facebook ad features a 9 second video of Trump speaking directly to the camera saying, “What’s going on now is the single biggest scam in the history of American politics. The Democrats want to take away your guns.”
Democrats taking away your guns is just one of thousands of lies that Trump tells every single day. His conman strategy is if you tell the same lie often enough, people will believe it. Each lie will eventually have a corresponding impeachment article but they won’t all be filed BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MANY AND IT WOULD TAKE TOO LONG.
