President Biden and Vice President Harris both flew to Atlanta to meet with elected and community leaders about the mass shooting, their covid relief package and voting rights. The governor, Brian Kemp, did not greet them when they both arrived in Atlanta as is customary because he’s a Republiqan and a total dick. As Stacey Abrams and Senator Jon Ossoff walked into Emory University where the meeting was taking place the crowd cheered like they were rock stars. Because they are.
President Biden made a televised speech from Emory University but was an hour late because he met first with leaders from the Asian community about the mass shooting and the crimes against Asians. He called it “heart wrenching.” Before introducing President Biden, VP Kamala Harris made her own speech where she, a woman of color and a child of immigrants, called homegrown hatred out — “For the last year, we’ve had people in positions of incredible power scapegoating Asian Americans. People with the biggest pulpit, spreading this kind of hate. ……Racism is real in America and it has always been. Xenophobia is real in America and always has been. Sexism too…. A harm against any one of us is a harm against all of us. The president and I will not be silent. We will not stand by. We will always speak out against violence, hate crimes and discrimination wherever and whenever it occurs.”
Asians are being attacked while minding their own business and walking down the street. Black people are being killed by the cops and being denied the right to vote. Latinos are still reeling from being rounded up and deported or threatened with it, Muslims are treated as terrorists, LGBTQs are being legislated against and used as political footballs, indigenous peoples are so invisible it’s as if genocide was 100% successful, women are being denied the right to control the size of their families and forced to live on less than men for the same work. You know who isn’t oppressed or threatened in any way? White men. They have more power, privilege and prosperity than anybody and yet it still isn’t enough. They have to kick everyone else when they’re down, shove their privilege in everybody’s faces and dare them to touch it, and even kill people, just to remind everyone that the penthouse for dicks is not accessible to the rest of us. Only they have access to that floor and don’t you ever forget it.
Speaking of don’t you ever forget it, there has been a bust of Nathan Bedford Forrest who was a Confederate General, slave trader, murderer, and the first grand wizard of the KKK, displayed in the Tennessee state capitol since 1978. The KKK was present at its unveiling. Democrats are are trying to get rid of it but the Republiqans are fighting them. They like it and want it to stay put because they’re Republiqans and total dicks.
12 total dick Republiqans voted no on giving Capitol Hill police officers Gold Medals for protecting them on January 6. They are: Louie Gohmert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Andy Biggs, Thomas Massie, Andy Harris, Lance Gooden, Matt Gaetz, Michael Cloud, Andrew Clyde, Bob Good, Greg Steube, and John Rose. 11 of them are members of the seditionist party and voted to overturn the election.
Democratic congressman Eric Swalwell called the Republiqans out for defending racism and not standing up for women and law enforcement this week. Instead, they stood up for kooks. Because they’re total dick Republiqans.
Speaking of kooks, Marjorie Taylor Greene says that the Democrats are trying to expel her because she is the Democrats’ greatest threat and Lauren Boebert says the fencing around the Capitol is all the Democrats’ fault. Since citizens can’t get into their Congress members’ offices, they’re being forced to walk past Pelosi’s wall making them all insurrectionists. She also says that she has on very good authority that a bunch of Dems are going to resign and the Republiqans are going to take over. A total dick told her.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has launched an investigation into the Federalist Society, special interest money infiltrating the courts, and how rich donors are benefitting from promises made by total dick Republiqans.
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, a member of Senate Judiciary Committee and a former attorney general himself, sent a formal letter to Merrick Garland asking him to look into the fake FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh, a total dick and a sitting Supreme Court Justice.
New arrests keep happening every day of insurrectionists. 4 leaders of the Proud Boys have been arrested. Jennifer Marie Heinl from Pennsylvania has been charged with taking part in the violence (she’s married to a cop who’s part of an FBI task force.)
Mar-a-Lago is partially closed because of a covid outbreak.
Trump’s private Boeing 757 airplane, which Trump calls Trump Force One is grounded and sitting on the tarmac in New York. One engine is missing parts and the other is shrink-wrapped. How is he going to flee the country after he is indicted? He has another plane but it only seats 9 people. That means there’s only room for Rudy, Lindsey Graham, Sean Hannity, Ivanka and a couple of hookers. Let’s call that plane Total Dick One.
There is $40 billion designated for housing assistance in Biden’s covid relief package. That means help with rent and mortgages, and housing for the homeless. Texas has received $1.3 million in federal funds to help renters stay in their homes. The program has been open for more than a month, but the state has only made 3 payments because their governor is a Republiqan and a total dick.
The covid relief plan offers Georgia $2 billion to expand Medicaid for 400,000 people but will the governor, Brian Kemp, accept it? He is, after all, a Republiqan and a total dick.
