Hey tough guys! Nearly a third of all federal correctional officer jobs in the US are vacant. Prisons are having to force cooks, teachers, nurses and other workers to guard inmates. Jobs! Jobs! Go get your tough guy jobs! You get to carry a gun AT WORK!
More than 70 officers have left the Capitol Hill police force since the attack on January 6 and the Republicans don’t want to find out why. Cops are leaving because they were attacked and the repugs don’t want to know why. Hey tough guys! More jobs! Go get your tough guy jobs where you get to carry a gun at work! Bang bang!
Newly elected Madison Cawthorn, the youngest member of Congress, is not a tough guy even though that’s what he presented himself to be on the campaign trail. He faked being a disabled vet and a trainer for the Paralympics. He was rejected by The United States Naval Academy. He’s known for inciting violence at the capitol, lying about having a successful real estate business, and going out into the woods to punch trees in his wheel chair which he has been in ever since he was in a car accident when he was a teenager. He says he missed 15 House votes because he was fulfilling his “service as a husband.” Is he admitting to getting paid to blow off work to service his wife? He gets paid $174,000 a year. Not bad for part time work. Must be tough.
Matt Gaetz’s old girlfriend is cooperating with the feds, giving them dirt on him going back to 2017. The invincible rich kid is going to be toughing it out in jail real soon.
Matt Gaetz’s female counterpart, Marjorie Taylor Greene is comparing vaccinations and having to wear masks with the Holocaust. She called it “exactly the type of abuse” as murdering Jews in gas chambers during the Holocaust on Fox News. Tough guy host David Brody just nodded along. When asked about it by a reporter during her America First tour with Matt Gaetz, tough gal Marjorie said, “I think any rational Jewish person didn’t like what happened in Nazi Germany and any rational Jewish person doesn’t like what’s happening with overbearing mask mandates.”

Speaking of failed white supremacist Republicans, Rick Santorum, the former Pennsylvania senator and loser presidential candidate, has been fired by CNN as their unpopular political commentator for going too far and saying that native Americans have contributed nothing to the country. You’re not so tough now, are you Rick the Dick?

At least 2 people were killed and 12 others were wounded in a shooting at a house party in New Jersey. 14 people were shot at a neighborhood concert in North Charleston, killing a 14 year old girl. 10 people were shot at a nightclub in Minneapolis, killing 3. A 3 year old boy accidentally shot his 2 year old sister with a gun he found that somebody brought to a party in Florida. All of the shooters thought they were real tough guys, except for the toddler who will be scarred for life. “Thoughts and prayers,” say the Republicans.
The tough guy MAGAs who have been arrested for storming the Capitol are scared shitless and crying in their cells, coming up with all sorts of new excuses for why they were there — Trump made me do it, I’m on the spectrum, I was on a group tour, I wanted to impress my QAnon girlfriend, all the white kids were doing it. The party of personal responsibility is taking no responsibility. Tough guys aren’t so tough.
In shoot ’em up, rough and tough Texas, they’re not only toughing it out with covid and making it tougher for women in the state to be in control of their own lives, but the state Senate passed legislation that would prevent schools and state agencies from teaching certain social studies subjects such as the history of Native Americans (there is no history according to Rick Santorum), what’s in the founding documents, and the writings of escaped slave/abolitionist Frederick Douglass.
Second Amendment My Ass Fun Fact: Guns are the second leading cause of death among children and teens in Texas. About 288 Texas children and teens are shot and killed every year. 54% are homicides. Black children and teens in Texas twice as likely as white peers to be murdered by gun. Hey tough guys in Texas! It is true that everything is bigger in Texas. Slaughtered children are big in Texas. Kids are lucky if they get a chance to grow up at all. Texas is a big mess.
Tough guy white nationalist Peter Cytanovic, the angry white face of the Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville carrying a tiki torch, joined the military but after the Defense Department did a background check on him he was immediately kicked out because he’s a Nazi. The Nevada National Guard doesn’t want him. Tough shit.
Tough guys aren’t tough. They cruise on their white male privilege, bully and cheat. Where would they be without their white wieners?
