Tower of Cower
In a Sunday Morning TV interview, Kevin McCarthy kissed up to Trump by endorsing him and saying he’d be willing to serve in his cabinet if asked. “We have a relationship where we’re very honest with one another,” he said. He groveled just like he did when he flew down to Mar-a-Lago after Trump’s failed coup attempt, letting himself be photographed with him for personal political power reasons. McCarthy brought the monster back to life so now the monster owes him.
The Texas Supreme Court temporarily halted the lower court’s ruling that would have allowed Kate Cox, the woman who begged a judge to let her have a medically necessary abortion. Any doctor who performs an abortion for her can go to jail for life. One of the justices, John Devine, is a pro-life lunatic who used to stand outside of abortion clinics and yell at women as they walked in. He calls this harassment tactic “rescuing” and was arrested 37 times for it. He’s up for re-election next year.
There have been 32,000 babies in 13 states born since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, making a birth increase of 2.3%. The babies were more than likely born to women who couldn’t afford to travel to another state to get abortions which means they’re probably too young and poor to raise a child. The #1 state in forced births is Texas. The second is Mississippi. If there was a way to track the lives of these children there’s a good chance they’ll never escape poverty. Life will be hard. In states where it’s still legal, abortions went up 2%, most likely due to receiving out of state women and the easy accessibility of the abortion pill.
Ron and Casey DeSantis put out a video where Casey called upon mothers and grandmothers from all over the country to go to Iowa to participate in their caucuses. She literally and desperately asked people to commit voter fraud. The Iowa GOP put out a statement saying you can’t do that.
The latest in the Hunter Biden saga is that there are new indictments alleging he owes millions more in taxes. It’s double jeopardy brought on by the prosecutor, David Weiss, who has been working on this case for several years. Weiss is worried about his own butt and the politics of the situation so he sprinkled a little miracle grow on his original flimsy indictment. Hunter has good case of vindictive and selective prosecution because David Weiss has indicted him again using the same evidence that Hunter already accepted a plea deal on. The new indictment includes a bunch of stuff that is irrelevant to make him look like a high rolling criminal when it’s an unpaid tax case. During an interview on the “Moby Pod” Hunter said, “They are trying to destroy a presidency. It’s not about me. What they’re trying to do is they’re trying to kill me, knowing that it will be a pain greater than my father could be able to handle.”
Two faced camera hog Nancy Mace and her long time fiancé are calling it quits. Turns out he doesn’t like the other face that appeared after she entered Congress.
Someone tried to burn the house down where Martin Luther King, Jr was born.
At a campaign event in New York Trump told the crowd what a general who had seen soldiers die on the battlefield told him that the bravest thing he ever saw was Trump’s “locker room talk” answer during a debate. He also called climate change a “con job” because “some boats” got stuck in ice in the Arctic.
During cross examination at Trump’s fraud case trial in New York, Trump’s expert witness, Eli Bartov let it slip that the Trump Organization and Trump’s PAC paid him $877,500 to be their expert witness.
Trump is using tens of millions of dollars of donor money to pay not only his lawyers, but also co-defendents and witnesses.
Trump, as usual, chickened out and won’t be testifying in his fraud case trial today.
