The Select Committee is hot on the insurrection trail and has requested documents from federal agencies (including the justice department) that pertain to discussions of Trump’s mental health and the use of the 25th Amendment, defying orders by Trump, putting loyalists in positions to enact the Insurrection Act, records that show any other personnel changes who would go along with the insurrection, proof of discussions about martial law, using military personnel to keep Trump in power, and withholding deployment of the National Guard, getting the visitor log from the White House of everybody who came and went on January 6 plus the movements of Trump on that day, any communications between DOJ officials and Trump or any other White House official relating to rallies and the attack on the Capitol, copies of the permits for the Stop the Steal protests, and any documents regarding QAnon, the Proud Boys, Stop the Steal, Oath Keepers, or Three Percenters and the 2020 election. The following individuals were named specifically: General Charles Flynn, Rudy Giuliani, Steve Bannon, Mark Meadows, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, Jared Kushner, Roger Stone, Melania Trump and Trump’s grown children except for Tiffany who is always left out of everything.
A US District Court judge in Michigan has referred Sidney Powell, Lin Wood, and a number of other Trump-allied attorneys for possible suspension or disbarment. Sanctions are in order because these guys abused the court system to further their political scam.
The House passed the John Lewis Voting Rights Act by a vote of 219–212. Zero Republicans voted in favor of the legislation including the “good ones,” Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. The bill is off to the Senate to face the Democratic bad ones, Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin.
Covid hospitalizations are above 100,000 for the first time since January. Bodies are stacked to the ceiling in crematoriums — they can’t take any more corpses. They’re begging for refrigerator trucks so they can keep bodies on ice until they can burn them.
Florida has more than 3 times as many people dying every day from covid than California and California has twice as many people.
A deranged father in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, Dan Bauman, not only won’t let his daughter wear a mask to school, he showed up to harass administrators to bully them into not letting any of the kids wear masks to school at Ft. Lauderdale High. He returned to school the following day to “protest” again. The cops were ready for him because he told them he’d be back. After he threatened students for wearing masks, he actually assaulted one, which prompted the cops to grab and cuff him fast.
Covid is the #1 killer of cops in the line of duty for 2020 and 2021. This year it has killed more cops than gunfire and vehicular accidents combined. The 60th NYPD officer just died from it but the NYPD union says it will sue if vaccines are mandated for cops.
Meade County, South Dakota, home to the annual infamous Sturgis biker rally, has gone from an average increase of weekly covid cases of 1,500% in 2 weeks to 3,400% in 3 weeks.
In Mississippi, one hospital is canceling brain and heart surgeries because covid patients are taking up all the ICU beds. The state’s total pediatric deaths for covid have doubled in a month. Schools have quarantined 15% of all K-12 students who have been exposed to covid.
Delta Air Lines will require unvaccinated employees to pay an additional $200 per month to stay on the company’s health care plan because the company has had to pay about $40,000 per employee if they end up in the hospital with covid.
Hospitals in Dallas are considering vaccination status before admitting people.
Big mouth anti-vax, Trump loving attorney John Pierce, who is representing over a dozen pissed off white people who tried to take down the government on January 6 (as well as Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager who went to Kenosha, Wisconsin to help the cops kill black protestors,) didn’t show up in court yesterday because he has covid and is on a ventilator.
