Trump says he wants to do away with laws, courts and judges and his followers are like, “HELL YA!!!!!!!” They think they’re safe because they’re white. They won’t fight back.
Religious leaders and former judges are calling for Trump’s liquor license to be revoked at his DC international hotel because of Trump’s lack of “good character.” They’re fighting Trump because the Republicans refuse to.
People took to the streets and showed up at detention centers over the weekend to protest Trump arresting migrant children and losing track of them in cages, jail cells, and unlicensed, for-profit detention centers. FIGHT!
At the CoreCivic detention facility in Otay Mesa, near San Diego, protesters chanted loudly so the political prisoners could hear and they answered back. The protesters wanted the prisoners to know that they are fighting for them and that they’re not alone. Welcome to America.
Trump’s followers resent that they are being manipulated into feeling bad for those kids.
The Trump administration is setting legal asylum seekers up at the border by directing them to cross illegally at the Rio Grande so they can arrest them at the other side. Democrats and ordinary citizens are fighting Trump’s Zero Tolerance policy because the Republicans won’t.
GEO Group, a private prison company, is moving its annual conference to a Trump property. Trump is profiting off of the people he is jailing.
Congresswoman Maxine Waters said Trump cabinet members should expect to be heckled at restaurants, gas stations, and at home. The people will peacefully fight back because congress won’t.

The US signed the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child(UNCRC), but it is the only United Nations member state that is not a party to it. The UNCRC aims to protect and promote the rights of all children around the world.
America first? Which America?
Crossing the border illegally is a misdemeanor like public intoxication, disorderly conduct, reckless driving, trespassing. For 91% of the parents being prosecuted right now, this is their first time entry. Trump and the Republicans are using them as political pawns before the midterms. Their voters have been brainwashed into believing that immigrants are the root of all their problems. They’re too dumb and lazy to know that the Republicans are the root of all of their problems. They call themselves the real America. They’re fighting the wrong enemy. The tyrannical government they’ve always feared is here, IN POWER, and they voted for it. Where’s their well regulated militia they’re always bitching about? You know, the one they need in an emergency in case a tyrant takes control of the government?
Republican hypocrite fun fact: Mike Huckabee is drilling down on Trump’s “all immigrants are gang members” talking point, but when he was governor, he personally intervened to release a convicted rapist from prison. His name was Wayne DuMond and he had become a right wing super star because he raped a 17 year old cheerleader who was a distant relative of Bill Clinton. The evangelicals in Arkansas had rejoiced in DuMond’s born again status and forgave him. After Huckabee freed DuMond, he raped and murdered two more women.
America is on fire. It’s all burning down……the Trump presidency, the GOP, the political evangelicals, the secrets, the denials, the haters. The only way to put out the fire is to fight back. Every single decent American, documented or not, has got to fight back, and after the fire is out, keep fighting.
The people who sheltered Anne Frank were breaking the law. The people who killed her were obeying the law.
There are two Americas right now. One is fighting back and the other is giving in.

ACTION ITEM FOR THE DAY: Fight back! Call your members of congress and demand two things: 1) Return migrant children to their parents 2) Impeach Trump 3) Call for the abolition of ICE. Even if you live in a blue state, your reps need to hear from you.
