Abby Grossberg is doing interviews and whoa — she gives outsiders a good view of what’s going on behind the scenes at Fox. She first started working for Maria Bartiromo and enjoyed it, but she wasn’t able to advance in her career. When she got the chance to work for Tucker in 2022 she took it because she could go further in her career. She thought Tucker’s on air personality had to be different from his real personality — he couldn’t possibly be that big of a dick — but found out immediately that he was the same asshole off air as he was on air. She said he would tell GOP legislators that he had the power to destroy them so they better do what he said or else. So they all kissed up to him. In addition to filling his viewers’ heads with conspiracy theories about the election and egging them on to show up at the Capitol on January 6, he tried to fabricate a story that the FBI was behind the insurrection to take the heat off of himself.

Abby said, “There was an aspect of ‘I can pick who the Speaker is. I can pick who the president of the United States is, pick who the Republican candidate is going to be.’ I thought that was very dangerous and didn’t want that kind of power. I didn’t want to have senate candidates calling me and being very upset ‘are you gonna destroy our whole campaign tonight’ because he could do that. He would call and tell them that if they don’t come on the show, we will destroy you.” Her experience on the show and the media in general left her so disgusted that she not only stopped watching Fox, she stopped listening to the news altogether.

Fox has an opposition file on Tucker and will use it if Tucker talks shit about Fox.

Special Counsel Jack Smith has asked Abby for a recording of Rudy admitting there was no election fraud. He has also asked for a recording of Ted Cruz talking about the planned coup with Maria Bartiromo. He was telling her about how they were planning to decertify the election.

After it came out that GOP megadonor and billionaire Harlan Crow has been providing trips and gifts to Clarence Thomas for decades, as well as undisclosed real estate deals (one being that he bought Thomas’ mom’s house and is letting her live in it rent free), the Senate Judiciary Committee set a hearing to review ethics rules for the Supreme Court. Senator Dick Durbin sent a letter to Chief Justice Roberts inviting him to testify at the hearing and he said no. Justices have always made their own rules and have policed themselves. The most corrupt court in history is not about to stop now.

Senator Ed Markey has called on Thomas to resign over allegations of corruption. He is the first Senator to do so. “I will say what needs to be said: Thomas should resign from the Supreme Court. His reputation is unsalvageable.”

The jury has begun deliberations for the Proud Boys trial after 4 months. Enrique Tarrio turned on Trump. His lawyer told the jury in his closing arguments that Trump was the one responsible for what took place on January 6th. “It was Donald Trump’s words. It was his motivation. It was his anger that caused what occurred on January 6th in your amazing and beautiful city.”
