Ventilator King
The US just hit 750,000 recorded known cases of the coronavirus and 40,000 deaths and Trump is calling himself the King of the Ventilators. He has yet to express any condolences or sympathy for the families of the dead. He tweeted: Just like I was right on Ventilators (our Country is now the “King of Ventilators”, other countries are calling asking for help-we will!), I am right on testing. Governors must be able to step up and get the job done. We will be with you ALL THE WAY!
Governors in the hardest hit states have been pleading with Trump for help in securing life saving ventilators and he has responded by saying they’re playing politics. He’s forcing them to grovel to get anything out of the federal government. They have to praise the King of the Ventilators personally. They must flatter him and praise him in order to get anything out of him for he and his son in law regard the Trump Family as the government.
Governor Cuomo of New York doesn’t grovel enough. That’s because he knows Trump better than any other governor. The King of the Ventilators makes his nemesis of New York beg for help. No ventilators for you! Jared Kushner has looked into this. “‘I have all this data about ICU capacity. I’m doing my own projections, and I’ve gotten a lot smarter about this. New York doesn’t need all the ventilators.”
Trump is making New York suffer out of spite. “I don’t believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators,” sending New Yorkers to their deaths. The really poor ones without family or whose family can’t afford a funeral have been buried in pine boxes in a mass paupers’ grave on a tiny island. Trump doesn’t care. They were late on the rent.
Trump doesn’t know how ventilators work. He doesn’t know that if someone is put on one, they will in all likelihood be on that ventilator for a couple of weeks until they get better or die.
Fox News medical contributor, Dr. Nicole Saphier said, “So, the people who have been on the ventilators for several weeks now are going to have to come off and yes we’re going to see some deaths this week but that’s also going to mean there are going to be ventilators freeing up.” She believes that people need to hurry up and survive or die. Just get off of those ventilators.
After Trump lied and said that no one in America who needs a ventilator has been or will be denied one, he finally relented and invoked the Defense Production Act to cover his own ass. It’s a law dating back to the early years of the Cold War to spur industrial production of scarce items like face masks and ventilators. Libertarians and Republicans freaked out because that meant that the government would seize the means of production. That’s communism! Let people die!
Republican politicians, however, didn’t say a word after Trump tweeted: General Motors MUST immediately open their stupidly abandoned Lordstown plant in Ohio, or some other plant, and START MAKING VENTILATORS, NOW!!!!!! FORD, GET GOING ON VENTILATORS, FAST!!!!!!
Meanwhile, rich people are inquiring how to buy their own personal ventilators, just in chase they need one.
Congresswoman Katie Porter released a report showing that mask and ventilator exports from the US increased dramatically in early 2020 when Trump was telling the American people that everything was under control. Promised federal contracts for PPE and ventilators won’t be completed until after the coronavirus peak. The report also found that in February 2020 the value of US mask exports to China was 1,094% higher than the 2019 monthly average.
Trump is making money of dying Americans. He’s been sending our stuff to other countries to appease his allies.
Trump has promised Mexico 10,000 ventilators. What’s he getting in return and how many Americans will die as a result of Trump’s deal?
Brooklyn Hospital treats a very poor population. 90% of their patients have the coronavirus. 50% are on Medicaid. Every day 35 people recover and 12 die. 1/3 of their staff has died from the virus. They need help. Federal help. The King of the Ventilators could care less. New York is asking for too much.
