Republicans are making insincere politically motivated public condolences on the passing of civil rights icon, Congressman John Lewis of Georgia who stood (and was pushed down) for everything Republicans stand against most notably, the right to vote.

Trump finally got around to tweeting condolences 14 hours after the news broke that John Lewis died, after his game of golf while riding back to the White House in his limo. Marco Rubio tweeted out his condolences with a photo of himself with Elijah Cummings because you know, all black members of Congress look alike. The chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee doesn’t know the difference between Elijah Cummings (chair of House Oversight and Reform Committee) and John Lewis. Senator Kelly Loeffler said, “John Lewis changed Georgia, America, and the world for the better. He lived a life of service and his impact cannot be overstated. Jeff and I are praying for his loved ones during this difficult time.” Kelly is part owner of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream and doesn’t want her players wearing Black Lives Matter t-shirts because Black Lives Matter is a “divisive organization” with “Marxist principles.” Mitch the Bitch said, “I will never forget joining hands with John as Congress sang We Shall Overcome at a 2008 ceremony honoring his friend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It could not have been more humbling to consider what he had suffered and sacrificed so those words could be sung in that place.” The bill to restore the Voting Rights Act has been sitting on Mitch’s desk for 2 years. Acting Homeland Security Secretary, Chad Wolf said, “Let us always honor the legacy of Rep. John Lewis. America is a more just place because of his sacrifices” at the very moment he was using his authority to order secret police to kidnap citizens off of the street in Portland because the president doesn’t like their politics.

The invasion of Trump’s secret police in Portland has only increased protester turn out. The attorney general of Oregon is suing to stop federal arrests of protesters. “Every American should be repulsed when they see this happening. If this can happen here in Portland, it can happen anywhere.” The ACLU says, “Usually when we see people in unmarked cars forcibly grab someone off the street, we call it kidnapping. The actions of the militarized federal officers are flat-out unconstitutional and will not go unanswered.”

Trump has told states that they’re on their own in regards to the deadly pandemic but if there is any graffiti, he’ll send in his secret police to kidnap and assault citizens to stop it.

Republican hypocrite fun fact: 55 years ago, conservatives left the Democratic Party to join the GOP after cops attacked a 25 year old unarmed protester, John Lewis, who they said was a violent Marxist agitator who hated America.

“Imagine what a man like John Lewis could’ve done for us all if he hadn’t needed to use his whole life to fight for something as simple as fairness.” — Jason Isbell

Self righteous leftist asshole fun fact: Bernie Bros booed both John Lewis and Elijah Cummings at the Democratic National Convention in 2016.

The White House is holding firm on sending kids back to school. Press Secretary Barbie says Democrats
“want to lock our children away.”

Speaking of locking up children, there are still traumatized, neglected, and infected migrant kids crying in cages at the border. They never left.

Trump can’t be bothered with kids, a virus, or being president. He’s campaigning and golfing as usual. He’s planning remote campaign events because he can’t fill arenas anymore (he’s freaking out this morning, accusing Democratic governors of not letting him hold rallies in their states.) Fewer and fewer politicians and celebs want to be seen with him. Except the gun toting St. Louis couple, KKKaptain and Tenille. They’re perfect for this gig.

The governor of Missouri says he’ll pardon KKKaptain and Tennille if they get charged for pulling guns on protesters. Would he do the same thing for a Black couple who pulled guns on cops who busted through their door, looking to shoot another Black person but were at the wrong house?

Missouri is racist fun fact: The Black Lives Matter movement started 6 years ago in Ferguson, Missouri, after the cops shot and killed unarmed 18 year old Michael Brown because he wasn’t using the crosswalk. They left his body lying in the street in the August heat for hours while his mother screamed in horror.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made a speech at The Family Leader Summit in Iowa yesterday and said, “This administration appreciates and knows that our rights come from God, not government. Can I get an amen to that?”

Do you want to see the separation of church and state reinstated? Vote. Do you want to see the end of the pandemic? Vote. Do you want to get Russia out of our government? Vote. Do you want to see the Voting Rights Act reinstated? Vote. Do you want to show support for Black Lives Matter? Vote. Do you want to honor John Lewis? VOTE.
