Vote or Else
Early voting has started. 131,000 turned out in Georgia, 5,000 more than the first day of early voting in 2020 which was a presidential election and those always get bigger turn outs. 71,000 turned out on the first day of 2018, which was the record for the biggest turn out in a midterm. This is a really good sign because the more people who turn out to vote, the more Democrats win.
Over 300 election deniers are on ballots across the country. Don’t let them win. Vote!
Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of those 300 election deniers. She did a photo shoot at the Wilder Brigade Monument, to show herself as a strong defender of the South. She thought by doing this that she was honoring the confederate army from the Civil War. The tower was used by the Union Army which ultimately defeated slavery and southern white supremacists like her. Marjorie Taylor Greene is an idiot. Her Democratic opponent, Marcus Flowers, is not.
A MAGA Republican in Arizona, Randy Kaufman, dropped out of his college board race after he got arrested for masturbating while watching interracial porn near a preschool.
Governor Ron DeSantis is rounding Black people up in Florida and putting them in jail as part of his new $112 billion voter fraud squad, the “Office of Election Crimes and Security.” He is taking them by surprise and arresting them. They could spend up to 5 years in prison. This is the kind of thing that happens in Russia. It’s not supposed to happen in America.
Senator Marco Rubio only agreed to only one debate with Congresswoman Val Demings in Florida because he’s scared of her. If he had any balls left after Trump shrunk them, she would have ripped them right off last night. She took charge of that debate like a boss and got in his face for letting people be slaughtered in schools, churches, grocery stores and nightclubs by refusing to join Democrats in passing gun legislation. As a former police chief, there’s not a whole lot of NRA BS he could throw at her, because she’d shoot him down and he knows it. When asked about voter oppression, he said that there is a real problem with ballot boxes because people could destroy ballots by tossing bombs into them. He accused Demings of being a baby killer by supporting taxpayer funded abortions without restriction, “right up until the moment of birth.” She replied with disgust, “Senator, how gullible do you think Florida voters are?” Demings receives far more individual small donations than Rubio. That guy doesn’t need hard earned individual donations. He is bought and paid for by the RNC, corporations, the NRA, and Russia. Val Demings was one of the impeachment managers during Trump’s first impeachment. Marco Rubio is Trump’s pet. He calls him, “Little Marco.”
Trump sits for a deposition today, under oath, to answer questions about all of the horrible things he said about E. Jean Carroll after she told everybody he had raped her in a department store dressing room 25 years ago. He called her a liar when he was president so she sued him for defamation and then Bill Barr stepped in and let Trump use the DOJ as his personal defense team. Now she’s suing him as a private citizen.
John Durham, the lawyer that Bill Barr appointed to investigate Mueller’s Russia investigation, has destroyed his own career by taking it on for 3 years and losing miserably. He couldn’t prove that the Mueller Report was a conspiracy. Republicans had packaged the investigation as a witch hunt that was started by the Steele dossier but the truth is it started after drunk George Papadopoulos blabbed to an Australian diplomat at a wine bar in London that the Trump campaign had embarrassing emails on Hillary Clinton. Igor Danchenko, the analyst who provided much of the research for the Steele dossier, was accused of lying to the FBI but then acquitted of all charges. The bogus investigation is finally over. John Durham brought 2 cases and lost both and spent nearly $4 million to help Trump. Now the DOJ needs to investigate Bill Barr for investigating Bob Mueller.
It’s been a month and the revolution in Iran is still going strong. There are daily protests and workers’ strikes. This country-wide uprising started after the Morality Police beat and killed a 22 year old Kurdish woman, Mahsa Amini, for not covering her hair properly. Women took to the streets without their hijabs to cut their hair in solidarity and men joined them. The government has been killing and jailing protesters. Last week, there was a riot in the Evin Prison in Tehran where the government detains political protesters — students, activists, lawyers, artists, journalists, intellectuals, anybody who has challenged the regime in public. Gunshots rang out and flames erupted from within the prison that could be seen from far away. The government attempted to get rid of its enemies all at once. Protesters clogged streets in the middle of the night in their cars to demand that the 83 year old supreme leader be removed, “Death to Khamenei!” The government shut the internet down and there is no legitimate news coverage, only state propaganda, so it’s not known how many people were shot or burned alive. Brilliant minds who spoke out against the regime and were sent to the worst prison in the world have been tortured and killed. This is the first revolution in the world started by women. They are demanding that they be free to choose what they wear, what they study, who they talk to, who they marry, and that they be free to travel without getting permission from a male relative, all freedoms that women had 40 years ago when Iran was a free and modern country. Then it changed overnight, starting with stripping women of their rights. Old men have been in charge and now young women and the men who support them are taking them on.
Don’t think this can’t happen in America. It’s already happening. The Supreme Court has taken constitutional rights away from women and the governor of Florida is falsely accusing black people of crimes and throwing them in jail to “win” election.
Voter turnout will determine the fate of the country. If people turn out to vote, the Dems will win. It’s that simple. What’s it going to be? A multi-racial free democracy where women are full citizens or a nationalist fascist state run by white men?
