Vote to Save Democracy
Even though Republicans still refuse to talk about the attack on Paul Pelosi as an attempted political assassination people will still vote for them.
The FBI has been telling us for years that domestic terrorists are the greatest threat to national security and since Trump, it’s out of control. Domestic terrorists are even in Congress — out and proud racists and election deniers. People voted for them.
Crazy, violent white people have been empowered by Republicans which has made them even crazier and more dangerous because now they have been given a chance to come out of hiding and mingle with others like themselves. They have grown in numbers. Militia groups have made it to the mainstream. Many are part of the sovereign citizen movement which answers to no one. Their anti-government beliefs are rooted in racism and anti-Semitism. They meet regularly to prepare for the day that they take on the government. These guys believe that the government opens a bank account for everyone on the day that they’re born and it’s time to get their money back. They file bogus lawsuits and commit wire fraud and identity theft. They say they don’t have to follow US or state laws. They have even tried to buy land to build their own jail with sovereign sheriffs so they could kidnap federal government officials and imprison them. A whole lot of them were at the Capitol on January 6 to fulfill their fantasies of taking down the government. Many of them were not only egged on by members of Congress, they have been heralded as heroes and political prisoners. There are a lot of pro-insurrectionists in Congress and they’re running for re-election. People will vote for them.
GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy is the de facto leader of these nuts because he is so desperate for more power that he has legitimized them by not condemning them and has even made them promises, if re-elected. McCarthy kicked Liz Cheney out of power for daring to call Trump out for inciting a coup and promised Marjorie Taylor Greene, who was in on the planning of the coup, more power if MAGA Republicans take the House and he becomes Speaker. Once Speaker, he has vowed to stop all investigations into Trump, impeach Biden, cut off aid to Ukraine, and get revenge on the Democrats.
Michael Fanone, the officer who suffered a heart attack while being beaten by the mob who all voted for Trump and MAGA Republicans said, “They’ve got to adorn the wall of this fucking weasel bitch named Kevin McCarthy, with his fake fucking spray-on tan, whose claim to fame is that he put a collection of Trump’s favorite-flavored Starburst in a Mason jar and presented them to fucking Donald Trump.”
Kevin McCarthy and the MAGA Republicans all have blood on their hands and want to destroy democracy and turn America into an autocracy and people will still vote for them.
At a white nationalist political event recently produced by Eric Trump and Michael Flynn, the opening prayer was, “God, open the eyes of President Trump’s understanding, that he will know how to implement divine intervention. And you will not surround him with RINO trash, in the name of Jesus.” Everybody at that event will be voting for MAGA Republicans. Many have never voted before. They have been radicalized by the GOP.
Derrick Evans, the insurrectionist who attacked the Capitol after being elected as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, was released from jail recently after serving 3 months. He says he may run again. People will vote for him.
Ralph Norman, congressman from South Carolina, says a cabal led by Barack Obama and former attorney general Eric Holder is secretly running the country. “Biden is not running this country. There is a cabal of unelected elitists who are running this country. Barack Obama is involved and Eric Holder…….” He’s running for re-election and people will vote for him.
The 900th insurrectionist was just arrested and all but two Republicans have not called them or Trump out for attacking the Capitol and trying to take over the government. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are treated as pariahs in their own party. Liz Cheney, a hard core conservative from a hard core conservative family, is endorsing Democrats to save democracy. Adam Kinzinger says they’re not heroes. They’re just doing their duty and are surrounded by cowards. Neither one of them is running for re-election.
President Biden gave a speech last night and called out the violence and threats of political violence. He pleaded with people to vote to save democracy on November 8. “…… extreme MAGA Republicans aim to question not only the legitimacy of past elections, but elections being held now and into the future. The extreme MAGA element of the republican party, which is a minority of that party, as I said earlier, but it’s its driving force. It’s trying to succeed where they failed in 2020, to suppress the right of voters and subvert the electoral system itself. That means denying your right to vote and deciding whether your vote even counts. Instead of waiting until an election is over, they’re starting well before it. They’re starting now. They’ve emboldened violence and intimidation of voters and election officials. It’s estimated that there are more than 300 election deniers on the ballot all across America this year. We can’t ignore the impact this is having on our country. It’s damaging, it’s corrosive, and it’s destructive. And I want to be very clear, this is not about me, it’s about all of us. It’s about what makes America, America. It’s about the durability of our democracy.”
