We Kill Kids in America

It’s back to school time in America which means kids are getting shot, maimed, and psychologically tortured in their classrooms, cafeterias, hallways, and bathrooms.

A 14 year old kid shot up his school in Winder, Georgia last week, killing 2 other kids, 2 teachers and injuring 9 others. His mom tried to warn the school right before he did it but to no avail. The FBI had investigated this kid for threatening to do a mass shooting last year and instead of the family getting him psychological help and making sure that he had no access to guns, his dad bought him an AR-15 as a Christmas present. The only thing that is different this time than any of the hundreds of other school shootings that have already happened since Columbine is that the dad has been arrested and charged as if he himself did the shooting. He’s facing 180 years in prison. Too bad he can’t live that long.

Now we’re finally getting somewhere. If you buy your kid an AR-15 as a Christmas present and he uses it to kill people at his school, you will be charged with multiple felonies and put in jail where you belong.

During the lockdown, one 16 year old kid texted her mom, “I know I’ve not been a perfect daughter. I love you. I’m sorry.”

America is a sick, perverted society. We’ve gotten so sick that adults are handing kids military weapons so they can shoot their peers with them and Republicans are doing everything in their power to insure that juvenile killers can keep on killing with the support of their parents.

Congressman Mike Collins, who represents the district where the shooting took place said it wasn’t the right time to talk about gun control and that what we really need is to “get back to God in this country.”

This God that the Republicans are always talking about and think they really know sanctifies the murdering of children. Nobody in their right mind would worship a God like that which means Republicans are not in their right mind. This is one reason why the founding fathers wanted to keep religion out of politics. Eventually somebody is going to interpret God in such a way that children won’t be safe at school and an entire political party will put every effort into forcing the entire country to accept their interpretation of their God. When they said no religion in government, they meant all Gods, even the most popular one at the time, and Republican Jesus who hadn’t been invented yet.

Out on the campaign trail, Trump’s VP pick, JD Vance, told a crowd of ten that school shootings are just a way of life. He said this standing behind bullet proof glass.

On the day of the shooting, the governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp said, “This is not the day to talk about safety or policy. We need thoughts and prayers for the victims, law enforcement, and educators.” Not only is this not leadership, but it crosses the line with God in politics and reinforces the Republican policy that kids should be free to shoot other kids at school. Sick.

“When I was president, I totally protected the guns.” — Donald Trump 8/8/24

Kids murdering other kids with weapons made for warfare is 100% a manifestation of the Republican party. The Democrats have had no role in this other than trying unsuccessfully to get gun legislation passed.

Trump’s attorney accidentally admitted in federal court that Justice Clarence Thomas has been giving Trump advice. The Supreme Court has gone from corrupt to criminal.

The only way kids can be safe at school again is if everybody votes on November 5. If Democrats have the majority in the House and Senate, and we have a Democratic president, we can get control of guns, the Republicans, and the Supreme Court.

The only thing that should be getting killed in America are Republican bills. Save our children — vote blue on November 5 and every election thereafter until the Republican party is finally killed.
