The executive director of the police union in San Jose, 64 year old Joanne Segovia, got arrested for running a massive drug smuggling ring for about 8 years. She recieved 61 shipments from China, Hong Kong, India, Hungary, India, and Singapore. The feds say she has been importing fentanyl and other powerful drugs. She distributed thousands of fentanyl pills. She used her office at the police union to ship things out, using the USPS account. She is on leave with pay. Joanne Segovia is a nice white lady who won’t do hard time because she’s a nice white lady. The feds have been watching her for 3 years. Once she got the drugs, she re-distributed them by mail to other states. She’s killing people. One such person showed up in her contacts.

Jaamal Bowman stood at the exit of the House chambers and yelled at the Republicans as they were all waking out. He called them all cowards. One of the gun nuts, Thomas Massie, didn’t blow him off like others but instead decided to school Jaamal on guns. He actually said teachers should be armed. Jaamal asked him if he’d ever been a teacher. He had not. Jaamal has 20 years experience of being been both a teacher and middle school principal. He was always terrified that a shooter might show up at his school.

They were disinterested and annoyed. Republicans ordered state troopers to remove kids who were yelling, “You’re killing us! Don’t you understand?”

Protesters made it into chambers while the legislature was in session. They were chanting, “No action, no peace!” Republicans called for order. The Democrats got up and joined the protesters.

Gen Z found their own way in and chanted “Shame on You!”
