Baby It’s Cold Outside
Today Trump was just sworn in for the second time, this time as the 47th president of the United States. They held the ceremony inside the Capitol instead of outside as is the custom no matter the weather because Trump was concerned that his cult followers might get too cold standing out on the mall. Trump doesn’t care about anybody, much less his working class supporters so we know it wasn’t for them. He did it because the crowd size would have been smaller than his first inauguration which was small. Hotels all had empty rooms even with massive rate cuts.
Today also happens to be MLK day. A lot of people opted for a day of service rather than watching the inauguration because Trump got this job based on the color of his skin rather than the content of his character.
Trump’s inaugural photo is a redo of his mug shot in Fulton County. He was going for threatening tough guy who beat the legal system but instead he just looks ridiculous.
Trump still held a MAGA rally a day before the inauguration. It was held indoors so he could control everything. He danced on stage to “YMCA” with the Village People and accidentally admitted on live television that he won because he cheated. “It’s only because they rigged the election that I’ll be your President.” When he introduced Elon Musk on stage he said,“He knows those computers better than anybody. All those computers. Those vote-counting computers. And we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide. He journeyed to Pennsylvania where he spent a month-and-a-half campaigning for me in Pennsylvania and he’s a popular guy. He was very effective… Thank you to Elon.”
The inauguration is a metaphor for Trump’s presidency. Only a select few who paid a lot of money could be on the inside. Everybody else? Left out in the cold.
Trump really stuck it to MAGA. They got tickets to the inauguration, reserved flights and hotels only to be told they weren’t welcome once they got to DC. This upset the MAGAs who didn’t get the memo before taking off. They were spotted wondering the streets, confused as to why Dear Leader would forsake them like that. They were hungry, too, because they were too scared to order food in restaurants lest a liberal waiter spit in their food in response to the red hats.
Trump refused to show up for Biden’s inauguration 4 years ago because he’s a whiny little bitch. When he left DC 4 years ago, he left alone and in disgrace. Only his grifter family shed any tears.
Trump’s first order of business today will be furthering the rift between Americans by rounding people up, putting them in camps, and then deporting them. He also plans on issuing 10 executive orders related to immigration including declaring a national emergency at the border.
Before Biden left the White House today, he issued preemptive pardons to potential targets who Trump will be exacting his revenge on — Dr. Anthony Fauci, retired General Mark Milley, members of the Biden family, members of the January 6 Select Committee. “These are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing. Baseless and politically motivated investigations wreak havoc on the lives, safety and financial security of targeted individuals and their families.” He also released a statement saying he believes the Equal Rights Amendment should be added as the 28th Amendment to the Constitution for good measure.
Trump’s executive actions today will include defining a biological basis for sex identity, cutting diversity programs, expanding natural resource extraction and lifting limits on vehicle greenhouse gas emissions.
Snoop Dogg performed at one of the inaugural events last night which really pissed fans off, Black and white. They need to face the truth about Snoop like they do Trump. They both have the same regard for the people who brought them where they are today. Snoop has no more use for Black people who bought his records anymore than Trump needs MAGAs now that they can’t vote for him anymore. It’s a long way from “Fuck Donald Trump” to shuck and jive, Snoop.
The word of the day is ‘recrudescence’. It’s from the 17th century and it means the return of something terrible after a time of reprieve. For a review of what Trump put the nation through the first time he was president, click here.
Major deportation raids will commence tomorrow.
