Baby Killers
19 second, third, and fourth graders and 2 adults were killed at another mass shooting at an elementary school in Texas. Not a single good guy with a gun was around to save them in a state where guns grow on trees. The Guns, God and Babies state kills its babies with guns and God. The surgical elimination of a cluster of cells from a woman’s uterus is murder but dead babies laying in their classrooms at school are just the price kids must pay for the gun nuts’ freedoms.
The shooter was able to buy 2 military style rifles on his 18th birthday a week ago. He shot his grandmother first before he went to the school, getting past law enforcement because he was wearing body armour.
This is the deadliest school shooting since Sandy Hook. What’s wrong with a society that does nothing to protect itself after 20 first graders were slaughtered in their classroom 10 years prior?
The shooter went from classroom to classroom and blew little kids away leaving some of their tiny bodies so butchered that they couldn’t be identified so their parents had to give their DNA to find a match among the corpses. The nation is horrified, pissed, and sick to its stomach. Not the Republicans. This doesn’t get to them at all. They don’t care. If they did they would have passed legislation to protect the public from mass shooters and automatic weapons after Columbine.
The House has already passed bills that are ready to go but the Republicans in the Senate won’t vote on them. They are perversely holding and stroking their own power as if it was a gun.

According to the FBI, mass shootings have gone up 97% since Trump was elected. This doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world.
There were 300 million guns in circulation when Parkland happened four years ago. Now there are 400 million.
This shooting was predictable and preventable as will the next one. They will keep happening until Republicans are voted out of office. Republicans are the problem. This isn’t a problem with Congress or Washington. It’s the Republicans. There is plenty Democratic will to pass common sense gun legislation (which is supported by 90% of the country.) They’ve already passed stuff. The problem is in the Senate. Mitch McConnell is #1 for the most blood on his hands because he won’t let the Senate vote.
Democrat in name only Joe Manchin said he’d do anything to pass background checks except shoot the filibuster.
Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales tweeted: Jesus said “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Let’s pray together.
Tony Gonzales voted no on the House gun control measures.
Texas senator Ted Cruz accused Democrats of politicizing the shooting.
Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton rushed to defend the assault weapon that the killer used. He and his wife, Angela Paxton, a Texas State Senator both attended the insurrection rally at the Capitol. Ken was a speaker.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott did a press conference and said all of the usual bullshit. He will be speaking at the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action Leadership Forum in Houston next week along with Ted Cruz and Trump and other “political heavyweights.”
Fox News focused on the race of the shooter. He was Hispanic and they felt that was worth mentioning.
A Texan can buy 10,000 rounds of ammo without a background check, but if they buy one box of Sudafed their info goes into a national database.
Based on all of the school shootings that have happened since Sandy Hook the following is sure happen: The kooks will hunt the grieving families down and accuse them of faking the whole thing and will threaten them to not even think about taking a stand on gun control, the media won’t leave them alone, gun violence groups will fundraise of off their tragedy and it won’t benefit them at all, politicians will offer up platitudes and refuse to use their legislative power to do anything, the NRA will drill down harder on the sanctity of the Second Amendment, more guns will be sold, the public will throw its hands up in disgust and go numb, and the families left behind will grieve forever.
The kids who survived the shooting will have to live with the memory of seeing their classmates murdered and having to step over their bodies to get to “safety.” They will be haunted by this day until the day they die, hopefully not by gun shot but if they stay in Texas, their chances of being shot and killed are greater than if they lived in a blue state with strict gun laws.
