Mitch McConnell is protecting Clarence Thomas who hasn’t been available for comment about his insurrectionist wife, by trying to get ahead of the media stirring up controversy about the Supreme Court Club. He accused the Democrats of bullying Justice Thomas over “fake ethical problems.” He made a speech on the Senate floor and said that the Democrats are wanting to impeach Clarence Thomas because they’re impeachment happy. They want to go for impeachment number three and finish what they started 30 years ago when they used one of their club members, Anita Hill to try and destroy him.
Mitch McConnell doesn’t have to worry about the media. Ginni Thomas and 7 and a half hours of missing phone records have been bumped by non-news. The media is back at the Hunter Biden Club.
In the most extreme example of the media going out of its way to prove to the Republicans that they’re not liberal, CBS hired Mick Mulvaney. He was one of Trump’s chiefs of staff, the one who withheld military aid while Ukraine was fighting Russia so Trump could pressure President Zelensky to “find” dirt on Biden. After that he chastised the media for asking questions about Trump, Ukraine and the quid pro quo. He told them it happens all the time so get over it. Mick Mulvaney stands on the shoulders of the most respectable journalists in the business, Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather, all of whom lifted CBS to be the best in the news club. Does hiring Mick Mulvaney mean that Rupert Murdoch owns CBS now?
Meanwhile on Russian state TV, Evgeny Popov, a host for one of their regular propaganda shows, said it was time for the Russian people to call on Americans to change “the regime in the US” and “to again help our partner Trump to become President” in 2024. He said this at the same time that Trump was doing an interview for some obscure right wing media channel, Real America’s Voice. The former president of the United States called upon a dictator during wartime to release dirt on the Biden family. He also challenged “any Democrat politician” to debate him on whether the 2020 election was stolen from him. “We’d get big ratings.” Why not throw a Republicans Only Orgy at Mar-a-Lago and invite Kevin McCarthy and Ted Cruz but then tell them they aren’t on the guest list when they go to check in, take off their shoes, and pick up their swag bag with a new MAGA hat, complimentary cocaine, and Trump branded condoms? That would be such a hoot! Tell McCarthy and Cruz they’re not in the club, at the club! The ratings would go through the roof!
Putin’s senior advisors are too afraid to tell him the truth just like Trump’s advisors were too afraid to tell Trump the truth. Putin doesn’t know how poorly his military is performing in Ukraine nor does he know how bad the economy really is.
Some really huge news broke amidst the usual mainstream media’s reporting of Republican talking points, Trump’s latest stupid publicity stunt, and celebrity worship. The DOJ is moving up the coup ladder and is investigating those who planned and funded it. It has subpoenaed rally organizers. Who paid for the travel and lodging of the MAGA militia? Who coordinated communications? Who’s in the club? The press should soon start reporting on some sinister characters who plotted the insurrection (if they’re not too busy talking about DC orgies, Will Smith and trying to prove that they’re not liberal.)
Kevin McCarthy had his father/son talk with Congressboy Madison Cawthorn and concluded that he lied about the Republicans only coke orgies. Why? They all lie. He is covering for Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, Paul Gosar, Mo Brooks, Lauren Boebert, and more. Why not cover for Congressboy? Isn’t he part of the club?
After weeks of convoying across the country before descending upon their final destination, the Canadian copycat MAGA truckers, the People’s Convoy, is finally leaving Washington DC after accomplishing nothing for several weeks. They gathered to protest mask mandates after the mask mandates had been lifted. Some of them chickened out at the last minute and didn’t go at all because they heard that Nancy Pelosi might “frame” them. Their plan was to conduct “citizen’s arrests” of DC Metro police officers and DC Mayor Muriel Browser over the mask mandates and their “first amendment rights.” That’s not all. The truckers were also mad about the lack of accommodations and their right to go to the bathroom whenever they needed to. Their Robert Bly Fire in the Belly, howl at the moon, MAGA man trucker protest got ruined when they couldn’t couldn’t find a place to poop. Eventually things deteriorated and they started fighting among themselves over disagreements about where the club was headed. Many of them ended up in urgent care with a bad cough…..the sick truckers said they felt like they got hit by a truck.
