Hardcore Crazies
In the past 10 years right-wing hardcore crazy extremists have been responsible for 75% of the murders targeting specific groups in the US but it’s never talked about that way. The media always dubs the domestic terrorists as victims of mental illness because they’re almost always white men. Hate isn’t a mental illness. It’s a choice.
President Biden gave a speech and called Fox and other right wing media outlets out by saying that mass shootings are always done by angry, alienated, lost, and isolated individuals who have been radicalized into falsely believing that they will be replaced. “I call on all Americans to reject the lie. And I condemn those who spread the lie for power, political gain, and for profit.”
Senator Chuck Schumer wrote Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News and a bunch of other media outlets, a letter and demanded that he stop the programming which is inciting mass shootings.
Jim Acosta called Fox News a bullshit factory.
A reporter asked Mitch McConnell if he would denounce replacement theory and he refused. He can’t afford to piss off Fox News. That’s the only way he can manipulate the hardcore crazies.
Now that replacement theory and white nationalism have become mainstream, anybody that keeps quiet by not calling out acts of terror are guilty by association. Silence doesn’t separate anyone from the hardcore crazies. It binds them.
Hardcore crazy Congressboy Madison Cawthorn lost his North Carolina primary race. He got 31% of the vote which means the hardcore crazies still voted for him. He rolled on to the MAGA stage 16 months ago and he’s been making news ever since, all of it bad. His party turned on him because he wasn’t loyal to the party. Losing re-election doesn’t mean he’s going to go away. He still has 7 months to make more news, and he will, and he is sure to come up in the public hearings that the Select Committee is holding, starting next month.

In Pennsylvania, where the American representative government was born, progressive Democrat John Fetterman beat out moderate Connor Lamb in the primary race for US Senator. He will run against Oprah’s Dr. Oz who is anything but a serious candidate. He won because Trump endorsed him and he’s on TV, just like Trump. At his victory party he said, “I want to thank Sean Hannity. Sean is like a brother to me.” Hannity gives him late night advice, just like he does Trump.
John Fetterman was in the hospital watching the results of the election. He had just gotten a pacemaker after having a stroke which is weirdly ironic. A Democratic candidate currently hospitalized with a heart issue is running against a Republican who is a heart surgeon.
Doug Mastriano won the primary race for governor of Pennsylvania. He was at the Capitol on January 6. The people at his victory party all looked like hardcore crazy insurrectionists. If he wins, he will have the power to take democracy down right where it started.
The Republicans who did the best in their primary races were those who campaigned on over turning the 2020 election and promising to restrict voting rights even further. Hardcore crazies will eagerly vote their own rights away if these candidates get power.
The Nazi who wore the Camp Auschwitz t-shirt to the insurrection, Robert Keith Packer is going to go to jail for a couple of months for his role in the insurrection. He’s used to it. He’s been to jail lots of times.
Latest count on insurrectionists facing prosecution: More than 790 people have been charged with federal crimes related to the Capitol riot. Nearly 300 of them have pleaded guilty, mostly to misdemeanors. Over 170 of them have been sentenced. The DOJ has asked the Select Committee for transcripts of witness interviews but the chair of the committee, Bennie Thompson is reluctant to share their “work product.”
Trump’s former inaugural chair, Tom Barrack, just got hit with a 9-count superseding indictment for taking $374 million from the UAE in exchange for access to Trump while he was working as a lobbyist for them and spying on America.
Joe Biden’s Postal Service nominees have finally been confirmed. Now they can fire Louis DeJoy, the guy Trump appointed to dismantle the postal service to help him steal the 2020 election.
