There has been a lot of pearl clutching over protesters showing up outside of justice’s homes to let them know that they’re not happy about Roe v Wade being overturned. One reporter asked Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer if he was comfortable with the protests. He said, “Yes. At my house, there’s protests 3, 4 times a week outside. That’s the American way to peacefully protest.” Then his phone rang. “That’s my wife. Maybe there’s a protest.”
Senator Susan Collins of Maine, one of the few moderates left in the Senate who screwed half the country by voting to confirm Brett Kavanaugh believing he wouldn’t overturn Roe v Wade even though he cried, lost his cool and lied repeatedly during his confirmation hearing, called the cops on protesters because they wrote with chalk on the sidewalk.
No guns, zip ties or bear spray were used at any of the protests in front of justice’s homes. Just chalk.
Democrats will hold a vote to codify Roe v Wade today. It won’t pass but Schumer wants to get the Republicans on record for where they stand, especially the “moderates” like Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski.
Texas is passing new laws to prohibit assistance with miscarriages — no D&Cs and medications that safely expedite the painful process.
Reversing Roe v Wade is cruel and unusual punishment.
Tennessee just drafted a bill about abortion pills that can be purchased through the mail. If you do it, there will be a $50,000 fine.
Women should stop using period tracking apps so they don’t inadvertently hold on to evidence that could make them criminals if they get abortions. Keep track of cycles on an old fashioned paper calendar.
Women should turn lesbian now because straight sex is too risky and men are pissing them off like never before.
When asked about abortion on the campaign trail Trump said, “There has to be some form of punishment” for women who have abortions. He wanted to abort his fourth child. Nobody knows how many abortions he has paid for because the women all signed nondisclosure agreements.
Republicans and the Supreme Court will overturn Brown v Board of Education after overturning Roe. Racist Texas Governor Greg Abbott is ready. He will challenge the ruling requiring states to provide children with a free public education. He wants women in Texas to remain barefoot and pregnant with kids crawling all over the place who will never go to school so people will be so poor and stupid they’ll never challenge their government.
Greg Abbott pissed Mexico off with his stunt at the border in order to drive up inflation to hurt Democrats in the November election. Their trucks have been rerouted to avoid Texas by going through New Mexico.
Trump said the person who “leaked” his whereabouts (hiding in the White House bunker) during the BLM protests in June of 2020 should have been executed according to his former defense secretary who is trying to sell his tell all book right now.
Brian Kemp tried to scare his Republican base by saying that Democrats can win in November if they keep registering “minority voters.”
Joe Manchin endorsed a Republican in West Virginia who opposes Build Back Better, just like him.
Far right cable news network OAN had to say on its show that there was no election fraud after they were sued by volunteer poll workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss who they threatened and publicly accused of election fraud.
12 million people have been driven out of their homes in Ukraine. Putin’s war should go on for a long time.
Gun murders went up 35% in 2020. That’s the highest number of homicides involving guns in a quarter of a century.
Elect only Democrats and gun deaths will go down, minority votes will be counted, Build Back Better can finally pass, kids can continue to go to school without having to pay for it or sit through religious indoctrination, women can be in charge of their own lives, and people can write on the sidewalks with chalk without getting hassled by the Republicans.
