Sarah “I Can See Russia From My House” Palin has announced that she is running for Congress in Alaska. Trump has endorsed her. She announced her candidacy on April Fool’s Day.
Sarah Palin dragged the GOP down when the McCain campaign stupidly thought it would be a good idea to pick her as his running mate in 2012. They thought by picking a stupid woman that they’d get the stupid vote but there were way too many smart people who made history by voting for Barack Obama. They activated the stupid vote, though and opened the door for Trump, the Tea Party, MAGA, and QAnon.
Sarah Palin has got some serious competition in the GOP for being the most embarrassing and dumbest member of Congress. The bar for them keeps getting lower and lower. There is nobody or nothing that the GOP leadership won’t accept or defend. Moving in to first place for the most embarrassing and dumbest Republican is 26 year old college drop out, Madison Cawthorn whose only work history before Congressboy was working at Chick-fil-A, punching in as a part-time lowly staffer in a congressional office, and being a half assed “real estate investor.” The video of his traffic stop in October was just released. He was going 89 in a 65, didn’t have a wallet or his driver’s license on him, plus the car wasn’t registered in his name. It’s in his dad’s name. He will speak at Trump’s MAGA rally in North Carolina next week. Congressboy Cawthorn blamed the left and the media for his cocaine orgy comments in an official statement. On a speech on the House floor he said he was going to define what a woman was for his colleagues: “XX chromosome and no tallywhacker.”
In second place for the most embarrassing and dumbest GOP member in Congress is Marjorie Taylor Greene. She spoke at an event over the weekend and settled the woman question once and for all. Marsha Blackburn (senator from Mississippi who has a BS degree in home economics from Mississippi State University) still wants to know, “What is a woman?” Marjorie said, “I’m going to tell you right now what is a woman. We came from Adam’s rib. God created us with his hands. We may be the weaker sex, we are the weaker sex, but we are our partner’s, our husband’s wife.”
As the GOP sinks further down, falls all over itself and makes a mockery out themselves and the country, there are serious problems that need to be solved at home and abroad. Existential problems.
Spain joined Poland in calling Russia’s actions in Ukraine a possible genocide. President Biden called for Putin to be put on trial for war crimes. The atrocities are beyond comprehension. The port city of Mariupol is 90% gone. 300 bodies were discovered in a mass grave in Bucha, a town outside of the nation’s capital, Kyiv. Buildings were completely destroyed. Dead bodies littered the streets, some of them were handcuffed. 5 of them were naked women that the Russians tried to burn. Soldiers looted houses and raped children. It turns the stomach and assaults the soul. Russia calls the claims “fake” even though there is plenty of clear evidence of what they did.
Have Americans living in the right wing bubble who believe that the media is “fake” seen the images of people lying dead in the streets? What are they being told inside that bubble? Do they understand that the guy they still believe is president was impeached the first time for trying to extort the president of Ukraine by asking him to make stuff up about Joe Biden and his family in order for him to win the 2020 election? Do they know that part of the deal he made with Putin for winning the election the first time was that he’d have to “give” Ukraine to Russia? What’s going on over there?
Speaking of “fake,” contrary to documented, established evidence, Trump’s latest business venture is not better than Twitter but a total bust, just like all of his other business ventures. His social media platform, “Truth Social” bombed. Two top executives have resigned, the chief of technology and the chief of product development. Was it because he didn’t pay them or do they not want to be associated with such a flop (Trump doesn’t even use his own social media site.) Trump scammed his investors out of a billion dollars so now the SEC and FINRA are investigating. What about CEO, Devin Nunes? Will he be fired or will he resign?
